Just moved from west coast to east and now am looking to expand my breakfast shop options down here. Any suggestions on which companies I should apply for ? Most of the ones I am already setup with look to be for the west coast and not east.
MarketForce occasionally offers shops where the whole point of the shop is to give a prize to a waiter that mentions specific beverages to a customer beginning their order vs. just asking "What do you want to drink?" but there only come around every couple of years and from what I can tell, do not cover all properties of a very famous chain that scatters and covers and smothers the Southeastern United States with 24 hour properties.
Mystery shopping in the Great Smokey & Blue Ridge Mountain ranges of Southern Appalachia (GA, NC, SC, & TN)
Just today there was a very interesting article that is going viral about a customer who cooked their own breakfast at a Waffle House while the employees were sleeping. When the local TV station asked the district manager about this he said he reached out to the customer and asked them to become a secret shopper for them. Now I just want to know, which MSC handles all of their mystery shopping. The news report can be seen here:
Years ago (30 at least) before the age of computers and all that, Shoney's had their own "mystery shopping" program. I know this because my childhood friend's mom was one of them. She typed her report on a typewriter and sent it snail mail to them! She would have to do about the same stuff as the requirements for today's mystery shop program except for pictures and timings to the second. She wore a watch and kept a small notebook in her purse to keep track of things. That shop paid for a family of 4 and they only had 3, so I went with them. I guess she kind of inspired me to become a mystery shopper all these years later!
