Maritz new website launching

French, you can click List View instead of Map View. I don't like this list view. it's too wordy. I'd rather see the old list view that has very little info beyond shop, money, dates.

I agree. when I did see the list view, it was too wordy. i think there should have been a simple link to shop explanation.

Are "premium shops" pretty much the same as sorting by the ones that have incentives in the old system?

I've been visiting this site and have found the following:

1 Does not seem to be available on internet explorer (IE). Works with Chrome.
2 The shop explanations are okay. The words do seem to run together and what's up with the caps? The headings are okay for the first few shops, but the fees (standard and incentive) run together and if you are not remembering the column heading, not available.
3 I don't care for the map feature as a way to find shops (that's my opinion only).
4 I'm wondering how its going to be when entering reports.
5 Finally, Its not intuitive. No explanation of how to navigate to your account, etc. I don't mind searching for links, but when I'm in a hurry, this is going to be one giant PITA!

My opinions though. I know people like me hate drastic changes such as these. The rollout, IMO, should have been incremental, not the splash it is.

When I worked in corporate, the powers that be rolled out a new system that quickly became a noose around everyone's neck who had any authority with it. Heads rolled, sales were lost and in the end, a secondary system was put in place to compensate for all the new systems faults.

I hope this doesn't happen here.

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on the IE issue.
We also have training videos under the help section that will guide you through our website.

Yes!

The filtering took place of the advanced search. In order to see shops not on a map simply click on the LIST view on right above the map.

Yes, I figured that out.
However, sometimes it opens up and sometimes not. When I ask to filter results I only get the "blue shops" or "Premium" shops.
Right now, when I filtered my results to those blue shops, I get a list view of no shops.

French Farmer what version of IE are you experience issues with?

I'm using IE 8

However, I'm using Chrome and experiencing the above problems. IE is not working at all.

Just to let you know, the training video for "finding new shops", etc do not match up with what I'm seeing on my browser (Chrome).

Is it because I'm using Chrome and not IE?
One of the gas clients has 2 different time frames available. The new site says that the pack list will show when to complete the shop. This makes it very hard to schedule when you don't know if it is day or afternoon/evening.
So, If I am not seeing any blue shops or any gas station shops (of any flavor)....does that mean I am not eligible for them?
So far I have had no real issues using the latest Chrome for Windows (and Android,) but I haven't reported any shops, either. I don't like the repetitive descriptions on the list view, but I can live with it. I also was confused when using the filters. At one point, when I tried to change the filters, only one client option showed. I eventually realized it was because no other shop types were in my map area. When I changed the map view to an area with other clients, those shop types reappeared on the filter options. That makes sense, I suppose; otherwise, the filter options would be cluttered with dozens of irrelevant shop types. But it took me a minute to catch on.
Nope. Not shopper friendly at all. Pfft. Can I please just have a distance to search?

Oh, wait. Now I have an issue. When I look at my assigned shops, all I see is city and state - no address. I have to open the shop to see the address. When I have multiple shops in the same city, I have to open shops at random until I find the right one.
That is how the presto map works for me, I have to click on each one to find the right shop and address.
I am grateful that Maritz is making itself so available as they transition to the new website. There are some errors in the roll out that we have the pleasure of finding and they are responding very well. I spent ten minutes on the phone this morning with a scheduler who helped me with a different snafu. smiling smiley

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Can everyone please note the great and positive resolutions they've had? This is a sharing, caring place!

Yes, if you call in we can check your eligibility and see why you are not eligible.

Okay, I'm now using my Tor browser instead of Chrome and finding the results a little bit better. It appears to me that if they get the compatibility issues with IE worked out it should get better. IMO Tor and IE seem closer than Chrome.
My Tor browser allows me to see all the shops in my area simply by enlarging the map area to further out than the default area. In reality I think you really need to shrink down your map area. With Tor, I have to use control and hit the + or - key to select the size. I can also use my mouse's wheel to do the same.
Once your area is enlarged, hit the "search area" button and await the results (rather slow). Then to see the shops in the area by address and definition, hit the "list view" button.

What I have learned though is that the shop's running dates are also listed and you know what that means experienced shoppers.
Yeehaa! Thank you Maritz, for joining us here! It will be so nice to learn from you, about the website and about projects that are offered. So efficient! You can reach many of us at once now! I'm loving it!
Thank you to all shoppers who have provided feedback on our site! Based on that feedback, here are some helpful tips for using our new website:
- Tutorial videos are located under the “Help” section in the upper right hand corner
- If you are using Internet Explorer, you must use IE10 or newer
- To see more shops in the map view, you should zoom or move the map and refresh it.
- To see more shops in list view, switch to map view and zoom or move the map and refresh it. Then switch back to the list view.
- The “Advanced Search” functionality has been replaced by the Filtering feature.
- If you rename your photos, please do not use periods in the name. (e.g. pump.1.12.14.17.jpg)
- Our website is currently configured to only allow photos up to 4 MB. Photos larger than 4 MB will have to be resized to upload. We anticipate a fix for this to be in place sometime on 12/15.
- Documents are currently not accessible on Safari.

I always cringe when I hear about a website I frequent undergoing a massive update and changeover, as often times they are just changing fonts, reordering things, but not really adding anything of value. This Maritz upgrade truly is an upgrade. Great new site! Reported five shops with it today and loved it, so much quicker!
Love the new website. Everything is fast and smooth. Those 100+ question reports that used to take me 15-20 minutes to finish now only take 10 minutes. Thank you Maritz. Well done!
The new website will definitely be pretty good once the kinks are worked out. I noticed in the picture naming convention it doesn't like all the "." in the file name. Trouble is my camera automatically names the photos with date and time with that convention (12-14-2017 10.32.36.jpg)...this was never an issue with the old site and I do hope that the new site will be corrected to allow that naming so that I'm not renaming pictures all the time.
A few observations and suggestions.

First, Greetings to MaritzCX Scheduler. Who would have ever thought... Are you really a scheduler? When are schedulers going to be permitted to have e-mail? It would make everyone's life easier.

Many of the addresses shown are in all caps, but not for all shop types. This is probably a case of GIGO. Someone must have put all caps into the database. Should be a simple programming task to go through your database and smooth out the capitalization.

The default font size is rather large. Yes, it is scaleable, but it would be nice if you were to decrease the default.

The new shop defaults to mapview. How about allowing shoppers to choose to default to list, either by a profile setting or a cookie?

There doesn't seem to be a setting for radius. What radius are you defaulting searches to? Allowing users to change the radius would be helpful and easy programming.

View completed shops only show the past 14 days. Please change this. Show at least the past 365 days. Also, don't center the text in each column. Left justify each column.

Payment history continues to incorrectly show incentives as reimbursement. This likely needs fixing on your backend. An incentive is not a reimbursement, it is a fee.

On Direct Deposit history, please add a notation to which bank account past deposits were made. Currently you only show which bank account is currently set to receive direct deposits.

I'll be adding additional observations/suggestions in the coming weeks.
Here is another suggestion and in a way it was mentioned before:

For those shops that are date specific and the shopper not allowed to report early, why not allow the shopper to view the report, yet not allow it to be submitted (like it was previously)?
