Thanks, starrynight, for letting me know.
Thanks as well, ShopWhisperer for making it possible for me to know that the work in progress is visible to the public. It should not be.
Thanks, guysmom for the gracious and accurate interpretation.
That website is indeed a work in progress. Some pages are still filled with the pseudo-Latin placeholder gibberish, some with unpolished thoughts and fragments of ideas, some are nearly complete. Definitely not meant for public viewing at this point, though.
Our goal with the website is two-fold... 1) Educate clients regarding: the benefits of mystery shopping; debunking the adversarial view that many clients have towards mystery shoppers; and conveying the specialized form of mystery shopping that Servimer has developed and offers; 2) Equip shoppers with: information to help them succeed with Servimer, i.e. our style, our procedures, our entrepreneurial encouragement, etc.; instructional videos for the conducting of various specialized scenarios and the use of Servimer-issued video equipment; connections to opportunities for training and mystery shopping outside of Servimer so our shoppers can maximize their potential as professional shoppers.
We'll get there with the website. The challenge is finding time for it in the midst of constant growth.
If you have any suggestions for content, I'd be interested in hearing what would benefit you most.

Serving as liaison between Servimer and the larger mystery shopping community. (Servimer.shopmetrics.com)
Wow! I had not been back to this thread for a while and was glad to see that someone let Scott know about the incomplete web site business. Those of us who have actually interacted with Servimer senior managers (who are also the schedulers) know them to be among the most articulate folks around. Several are totally bilingual in various language combinations. The quote from the "work in progress" reminds me of the state of many of my notes made when "noodling" through various ideas for a spoken presentation,,, free-form fragments and meaningful only to me.

My favorite mystery shopping company is Mystery Shop Gigs. The jobs, or gigs, are very detailed & easy to follow. I did like 3 gigs, and already I have been paid for the gigs. They pay you $5 a gig. You can be paid by PayPal or Check.

Mod note: link removed. Links which are placed for the financial benefit of the poster are not permitted. The website is easy enough to find with a quick search.

Whereas Servimer is well-known and well-respected on this Forum, I'm thinking MS Gigs is either a sham company, or one whose ducks are not all in a row....this is a direct copy/paste from their website when clicking on the link given by the above poster. It's just one of SEVERAL paragraphs in the "Company History" section that looks like this....it doesn't instill a lot of confidence!!! (Nor make any sense!!!)

I do their burger shop once a month for an $8 fee. I get calls from them weekly. Every time, I tell them that I do those shops once a month.

They don't note our accounts.

I always get a call from MF to do FF shops. I have never done FF shops for the sole reason that they are unhealthy. A guy from MF calls me every week saying "I saw that you did FF so and so last month. Would you try that again?" I always say I have never done a FF shop before and I decline politely. I don't know if they take notes but he still calls me every now and then.

I like ACE Mystery Shopping. They don’t have a huge volume of shops available, but the ones I’ve done were enjoyable. As a company, they have been easy to work with & give me the feeling they really appreciate their shoppers.
Guysmom, I went to the page you linked and found it to have misspellings and typos like the other poster said. It was kind of sad. For example, what is this word on the home page under consulting: reposive?
Nick, I think you missed the explanation that the Servimer site that was accessed was in the process of being built and not supposed to be public. It was full if disjointed notes about what might eventually be discussed when the page was presented. And, of course, like all scribbled notes, full of odd mistakes and doodles! If you had even communicated with any Servimer managers you would find them a highly literate group. Their shopper guidelines document, for instance, is a model of complete, concise and useful information, with none of the contradictions that we so often see in some MSC's instructions to shoppers.

Wales, sorry for the confusion....earlier in this thread, someone had posted that Servimer had a web page with all sorts of gobble-de-gook printed on it, and I happened to mention that perhaps it was an old page or a test page something similar. Then a poster from Servimer actually came on and replied that yes, it was an old work-in-progress sort of page, and thanked us for making it known. So when the other poster posted about Mystery Gigs, it just hit me wrong, like it was some sort of promo posting to promote his/her own site. So when I clicked on the link (since removed by Mod...good idea!), I saw a bunch of nonsense words on the page, and just wanted to present that to the other readers of this thread. Sorry for any confusion!
My two current favorites are: Albatross because I love being reimbursed for hand made Italian accessories, then only having to do a short survey. This company also provides amazing bonuses. I also have enjoyed Quality Service Control for the generously reimbursed restaurant shops. Neither has ever been late in payments.

I'd love to hear your thoughts about working with BARE International. Of course, we are hoping for positive feedback.

LShapiro,
Please just make use of the "search" function. If you select "last 12 months", for instance, and "Bare" you will find many different mentions from shoppers about their experiences with your firm.

There have been lots of posts. A search would definitely yield thoughts from many forum members about working with Bare.
Bare is #8 on the list of most discussed companies on the forum.... My feedback:
I have never had a bad experience with Bare: Directions tend to be clear and payment on time. When I first started, I got jammed up on a shop something awful and the editor was very patient working with me to get it through the approval process. However, I rarely do shops with Bare now as they do not have much in my area that fits into the types of shops that I generally seek.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Yes, I use the search function daily. Since there are many new shoppers that join everyday and not everyone sees all posts. It was to ask feedback, not to annoy forum users. Thank you.

I read about BARE on this forum and signed up last month. The assignments are easy and simple. The reports do not require long narratives. Let's see my first payment in the bank and then I will have more good things to saysmiling smiley
I enjoy working for Second-to-none. They have my favorite shops. They Pay fair for the work and offer greate bonus. They respond almost instantly which is a priority on my list of requirements.
I like Shared Insight. Even though they don't have much stuff, I like how easy it is to sign up, cancel, and I've never been bothered after submitting a report for any more information. The shops are cool too, not lucrative by any means, but easy and short reports.

Sometimes they have Make an Offer...I just did their burger shop for $30 plus reimbursement.
Depending on location, deadlines, etc. they have been known to go much higher.

Last year I got a $20 bonus from MF through the Make An Offer Button. It was for a FF place.
