Yeah, love them, I know I will get my payment. I don't care if they are one day late, big whoopie.

Most veterans have this attitude :-)
Most 'veterans' would expect a mystery shopping company to adhere to their own guidelines.
People who are willing to put up with payments that are 'just a day late' are the reason that MSC's get away with so much crap..
This is not an issue of honesty or integrity. All your attacks on us just bizarre and absurd. It is only 10:40 PM here so until midnight the payments are not even late.

JAS, you are right. Too much drama.

But it doesn't matter what any one says...the guidelines CLEARLY state that pay is executed on the 15th and the 30th...and this has not happened. No excuses can change this fact.

The fact of the matter is that we've gotten to the end of the day EST and there's been no payment and, more importantly, no explanation from Ipsos as to why there hasn't been a payment. Evidently, pointing out this situation is considered by some in this forum to be 'drama'. I simply call it bad business.
No, LisaLTL...this is about taking stock of what needed to be done at the beginning of December and carefully planning my mystery shopping expenses through the end of January so I could formulate a realistic budget based one what IPSOS PROMISED> Get it?
This thread is only two pages long yet 19 of your 20 total posts are right here. Most of them are nothing more than attacks on other forum members because they are not going bats--t crazy over one payment. Yet you somehow think just "pointing out the situation" is what was considered drama.

My suggestion would be to get a good night's sleep then read your own posts again over a cup of coffee. Perhaps it will be more clear to you.

When the 15th of January was a Martin Luther King Day and a bank holiday, IPSOS paid the Friday before which was the 12th. They also paid the December 30th payment on December 28th. Just saying, they paid the last two payments early, maybe a bit of slack is in order.

Well, I've gotten up, had 2 cups of coffee...and still don't have my money. No communication from Ipsos either. Some people call me crazy...I call it this: expecting a company to do what it says. I ALREADY did what they expected, to the letter. I only ask from them what I have already delivered to them.
Waiting waiting waiting........ OH BOY.. I have a lot.. and I dont like to be 1 day or 1 dollar short of my money. I have bills bills bills.

And that was expedient for them to do so, right? Believe me, I would have completely understood if they had waited until AFTER those holidays to send out pay. In fact, I fully expected it and planned accordingly. So, no, they don't deserve any slack. This company is making a lot of money off my work and I expect to get paid when THEY say they are going to pay.

Chris
its not that, its that people need their money, the same way they NEED their reports in in a timely manner.. people expect to get paid in a timely manner as well.

That's the point, isn't it? Plans are made based on what a company promises and then the company doesn't deliver....then what? A bunch of people, in this thread anyway, say it doesn't matter? Pretty surreal if you ask me.

Chris
If you're willing to dump an otherwise perfectly good company over 1 payment, that's your choice. More good shops for everyone else in your area. But please stop posting endlessly. If you want to rant, you can do it in one post that the rest of us can skip over easily if we choose. Have some respect for the rest of us.

So, you think Ipsos doesn't need to held to their own standard.

Gotcha.

Chris
Beating your drum isn't in the forum doesn't do you a bit of good. We aren't going to pay you so what's your point in ranting incessantly here. Send emails to IPSOS and keep your fingers still for awhile. I am going to go out and do some IPSOS shops, see everyone later tonight.
Fine, I'm done feeding your ego by paying attention to you. You kind of remind me of the guy in the oval office. Do you have a twitter account where you rant and rave too?

I'm free to post, you are free to ignore. That's how free speech works.

It will do some good if anyone at Ipsos pays attention to this forum. Are you saying this forum is completely irrelevant?

Sent plenty of emails to Ipsos...none have been returned. Tried to call Ipsos, number is disconnected. Have fun doing work you may not get paid for.

Chris
No, IPSOS doesn't payattention to the forum. It's for shoppers mostly. I did email someone at IPSOS on your behalf, Chris, and sent them a link to the forum so maybe they will read it.
I don't have payment yet...I do have multiple emails from my scheduler reminding me that I have shops due today, end of the month, they can't be rescheduled, etc. I have at least 5 shops for IPSOS today that will require an outlay of funds. Plus the route is 90 plus miles of driving. I'd feel better if the deposit were here, yeah.
