Goodwin Name Change

I received an email this morning announcing that, effective 4/1, Goodwin and its brands (Customer Prophet, Campus Feedback, Goodwin, etc.) will be known as "360 Intel". One automatically thinks that the '360' tag in the new name refers to an all encompassing view of their clients' operations, but the cynic in me whispers that the '360' refers to how many days of the year a shopper will work for food only, no fees.....(smirk)

The first thing it made me think was that they'd be getting a C&D letter from both Intel and Alta 360.

I'm a cynic. When I see a firm re-branding, I wonder if they do so because they know their current reputation doesn't do it for them. Is it the first step to going out. The Coca-Cola Company never changed its name even after moving away from cocaine and into orange juice. Its not the name that matters.

Agree. The first thing I thought of was Alta360 Research.

I received the email as well....not knowing what to make of it, but time will tell. I do their shops through ISS, which they won't be using any longer.

I have yet to receive a shop from ISS. but they are still on the ISS portal. have a shop for ten pins.

Could be quite confusing, given the similarity to the other names. Maybe done on purpose?

It is just industry jargon. We gather intel for... how many companies? 360 is a full circle, all degrees, all angles/viewpoints. I wouldn't worry about it. It is just a name change that incorporates references to the industry.

So I missed the email or never got it. But I have done a lot of site visits lately. What platform are they moving too? For some of their work the iSS platform is well-suited.

I see their jobs are still listed on ISS, nothing changed but the name.

I have not received the email either. I have done a few shops for them.

I didn't receive an email. I have completed at least a dozen shops for Goodwin and always find them through ISS.
