I am from Destin, FL originally and spent quite a bit of time in New Orleans between 1980-1998, at least 3x a year for concerts, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, or to just go hang out with my friends. I have to agree about the food, always wonderful! One of my dearest friends was the pastry chef at Commander's Palace back in the day. Two of my good friends (married couple) were nurses who lived in Metarie and stayed at the hospital evacuating patients during Katrina. They moved back to Destin after that. I live in Ohio now. I have only been back to NO once since I moved up here. Just wasn't quite the same.
Some MSCs will ask you to get your car evaluated for trade in. Others want you to give your phone number and address in addition to the email as there will be questions on the report about various types of followup. Most of them want you to allow the salespeople to scan your DL. You will have to factor in all of this while deciding what shops you will or won't accept. Sometimes you don't get full access to your guidelines until after accepting the shop, so make sure you read them immediately so you can let them know you won't be able to do the shop after all because of (*whatever reason it doesn't work for you). I also don't know how a dealership can run credit checks without a SS#, which in my state is not included on your DL. Is that something that is done in LA?
I too love casinos...and hotels, and restaurants, and...nice to meet you too!
Post removed as it breached the Forum guideline which states, "Do not reveal the clients of mystery shopping companies". Additionally, it is usually an ICA violation to name both the MSC and client.
