Looking for a home based scheduler position!

Anyone know who has an open position? I tried with a closer look but got denied for some reason. I've been shopping with them for years :-(. The only other ones I have found are not based at home and that's what I need. Thanks!

Well eyespy, the OP probably already went through all that since they applied with ACL and got denied.
Good luck with that.

It wouldn't be my personal choice to be a scheduler, but I hated being an editor and being stuck at home is not my thing. Different people have different needs (small children, transportation issues, etc.).
I am not aware of any MSC looking for a scheduler but you may want to send an email to different MSCs and express your interest. Turnaround is high so you may get lucky. I would email to 10-15 companies and see what the response is. If nothing, email again next month or in two months.
Yeah, maybe she could replace a certain shady scheduler that has been discussed a lot on the forum lately!

JASFLALMT, don’t get me started Lol

Sukilove, I get a lot of emails from schedulers at crazy hours, I would assume most of them work from home.
ISC is looking for Field Coordinators, you can send your CV to ISC-recruitment3@internationalserviceheck.com. with subject line "FC - US" it's work from home job.

I inquired but got bo response from an MSC looking for one. I wanted to mnow how the pay is. I know Editors are paid per report so of course the more they review and more quicjky, the more $$ per hour for them. How does it go for schedulers? Is it an hourly pay or more a fee based position? Bonuses to book as many shops quickly as possible?

You would be surprised. I’ve contacted 6 so far and they all are in offices.

Ok I see. Yes, I am surprised! I guess I assumed it would mostly home-based. I worked as a scheduler but my experience was not really great as I earned $70 for two months worth of work. I worked for the above mentioned company that has a funky way of scheduling shops and communicating with schedulers. My motivation went from 10 to 0 in a very short time lol but you should keep trying. I would contact 6 more companies, and 6 more. If you have motivation, you should try and see. Btw you should be paid by scheduled and conpleted shop. Good luck!
If you're over 80, you might try applying with Maritz ;-).

You would have to live in Kansas since theirs are all in-house as well. I know you were being facetious iShop. I actually had a scheduler call me a few weeks ago from Maritz who sounded like she was in her 20s. I about fell down in shock.

I have done both. I preferred to schedule, since I didn't know how awful the reports were until later. Plus, I did not have to fix them. Editing was tough.
I think I’ve had some emails from Ann Michaels looking for schedulers. Can’t remember how recent but worth a try.
Amusement Advantage was looking to fill both positions recently. I applied for a scheduler position but did not get hired. Same for ACL. It's probably a good thing, as I think the editor position would fit my personality better.
