Has anyone else had problems with the HS Brands/Service Sleuth file uploads? I recently did a shop for KSS International which had me create an account with Service Sleuth(HS Brands?) to do the shop. When I tried to complete my shop it would not let me upload any files, so I could not finalize it. I tried with IE, Chrome, and Firefox on my PC, Chrome on my phone, IE and Chome on my laptop, and nothing worked. The status for the upload would go to 100% then just sit there and the file would never show up. I then contacted my scheduler, who took his time responding to me so that I ended up getting a comment about how my shop was late, which it was not. He then had me send him the pictures, which he uploaded for me. Now I have a message about my pictures being wrong because the same picture was uploaded twice and there was no receipt uploaded, which I had sent my scheduler the receipt. I have never had a problem uploading pictures on any other site and I've done quite a few mystery shops now, so I don't think it's something on my end, but I have no one to contact about this. I'm now beginning to wonder if I'll even get paid for this shop and if I should bother doing business on their site ever again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the uploads work or who to contact? I did notice that my scheduler uploaded pdf's to the report, which I had also tried converting my jpg's to pdf's to see if that was the issue, but it still won't let me upload them.

I haven't had any problem uploading photos for HS Brands, so I can't be much help there. My one suggestion is that you might check the size of your photos. Once in a while with different MSCs I have had a problem uploading and when I reduce the size it works. I don't know what causes it, I take all the photos with my phone but sometimes the files are bigger than other times.

As for doing shops for KSS International, KSS is only an independent scheduling company and they schedule mystery shops for multiple mystery shopping companies. Any time you do a shop scheduled by KSS, you are actually working for the company they are scheduling for and that company will pay you.

Yes, KSS schedules for multiple MSCs. Your best bet would be to go online to Howard Services main website and see if you can find a phone number there to call and speak with someone at the actual company.

Thanks for the suggestions. This shop has been very frustrating, especially for one with only a small amount of pay. I tried resizing and it made no difference with chrome, then I tried in IE again on my laptop and it actually worked. So I have no idea how to make this work in the future still and am not sure it's worth doing any more jobs for HS Brands. It would be nice if they had a tech support person to contact.

I haven't done any shops for them in a long time, but years ago I did. Back then I never had any problems. Thanks for the warning.

I had a phone job in Nevada that SS handles for Coyle, (only in NV) and the site didn't work. Heather called and tried to get me through it, but something was wrong with the site, I had to cancel.

I've had issues from my desktop with HSBrands. For whatever reason they upload from my phone just fine. *shrugs*. Not exactly looking forward to uploading better than a dozen for my casino shop this week through my phone though.

I work for them in CA without problems, my only problem (as I said) was for jobs they handle for Coyle in NV.

I have had the same issue the last couple of times. I tried everything above except resizing the photo, which I've never done. I'll try that next time.
