IPSOS email?

I just received this email today and I think it's different, what do you think?

You will have already received an automatic Shopmetrics notice of a survey available to your account.
We are urgently looking for shoppers to complete this very short and easy survey. Once you have completed the survey, you will be eligible to receive shop invitations to upcoming exciting shops! If you have any friends or family, please also have them register at ishopforipsos.com/en_US/ and let us know at the email below so we can make the survey available to them!
Please note: This is a polling/qualifier survey and is NOT mandatory. You can easily decline the survey/shop in the Shopmetrics system.

You didn't get the Shopmetrics email yesterday?

I received the same email. I'm guessing it's a spoof since all other email comes to me from: notifications@ipsos-mysteryshopping.com. Same words, different order.

I found the survey on IPSOS website yesterday and took it. Tell me how they spoofed putting the survey on the real website.

The link takes me to a very unfamiliar looking site. At the top of the page it says iShopFor Ipsos with a briefcase/purse looking icon with a check mark in it.

The login page for people already signed up for ipsos is [www.ishopforipsos.com].

Whereas, where I normally sign in is [ipsosus.shopmetrics.com]

I took the survey yesterday. I didn't put two and two together when reading the OP's post. Is the combative tone necessary?

spicy, I didn't use the link in the email, I logged in to IPSOS using my bookmark for the site.

COM, don't read something into it that wasn't there.

So, the ishopforipsos.com site is legit? Cause I'm about to put my login info on there. I do not have a survey in my inbox on my ipsos page. Just a bunch of cell phone shops and the regular ones.

I did not log into the ishopforipsos.com site. Let me check it out. The survey was in opportunities, not my inbox.

Okay, here's the deal. The ishopforipsos.com site is for new shoppers who are not already signed up with IPSOS. I just reread the email you posted above and it says to have your friends and family sign up with them on that link.

I clicked on opportunities, of which there are 9,098. However, this survey does not show up for me. Interesting. I'll text my contact and see if she has a moment to help me straighten this out.

How the heck do you have 9,098 opportunities, LOL?

LOL! I wish they were all in my area, I'd be busy for a very long time. Those are nationwide, I guess. There's a boatload here available though.

It should be at the very top of the list.

I just sent an email to my scheduler and she checked with an account manager at IPSOS who told her they are just getting ready to send out a mass email to their shoppers about the new site.

Oh, Oh, Oh, OK. That's so much Shops-A-Lot. How exciting! We need some changes this year. eta: I removed the word fake in the email since this turned out to be real.

They also said they are going to post a note about it on their current website.

I took survey, short and easy....

Maybe it's regional. I don't have the survey and I want the survey. Give me the surveyyyyyyyyy. lol

We are excited to announce our newly branded Ipsos Mystery Shopping home page site for all new shoppers and current shoppers!

This is our real site: [www.ishopforipsos.com]. Please note there are no impacts to your account and to the way you receive automatic Shopmetrics emails. The old site will remain active for client use but we suggest shoppers use this new site!

You can click on the blue 'Register' icon if you are a new shopper or the 'Sign In' buttons to access Shopmetrics.

I did not get a survey. I have sent you an email about this.

They still have a request for a backup shopper at a few Sears stores that have been closed for over a year in my area.

Me too then i couldnt find the survey they were talking about and no one answered.

I still have not gotten a response about the survey. I guess I'm not getting one.

If you go to the website for Ipsos and check under payments you will see where the survey was submitte.

I finally got the survey. I wasn't who they were looking for, unfortunately.
