Is it just me or is this a hard company to work with? I’ve been working with them a year or so. I’ve never worked with a company that doesn’t respond to emails unless you send two or three, and their responses are generally abrupt and borderline rude.
I was recently assigned a shop that I didn’t request. I emailed and informed them it was the wrong shop with a screen shot clearly showing it was the wrong shop and their error. No response to two emails over the past two weeks and the website now shows my status as probation and unable to self assign. No loss on my part but definitely not the way to run a business.

I think you are right. They are making more money than you with regular hours. I just did a job search on Indeed and looked for jobs listed under mystery shoppers, secret shoppers and found out they are making hourly wage, commissions, and benefits.

This is one of my fave companies. Their jobs, or at least the ones I do, are well compensated and easy to do. The instructions are clear enough that I do not need to contact them. In the years I have worked for them I have never had an issue. I just wish they had kept some of my favorite clients. I cleaned up with them in the past.

I used to do quite a bit for them but they lost my favorite clients and it's been a while since I've done any shops. I didn't have problems when I worked with them, but I never needed to email them and I was never assigned a shop I didn't request.

I've never ever had any issues with this company - they pay promptly , treat you fairly, etc. The only thing is that I have not done anything for them in about a year - none of their current/recent jobs appeal to me. If their regular employees are well compensated - great! I have no ill will towards a company that hires US workers and they seem to be well paid. Maybe they're under new mgmt?

There are two MSCs with similar names.

The Secret Shopper (Prophet based)
Sights on Service, Inc. d.b.a. Secret Shopper (their own website)

There is no relation between the two. It is not clear which firm you post about. My experiences, however, with both have been nothing but positive.
