Satisfaction Services

I did several shops for them in March. Is anyone familiar with their pay policy and how to find out what shops were accepted for payment?

I believe they pay via check that is mailed on the 25th of the following month. So you should get it any day now.

I do one shop for them per month. They send a check at the end of the following month.

I do quite a bit a work for them and have noticed that different projects are managed from different parts of the country and each geographical center pays separately. As HonnyBrown and bgriffin have mentioned, their stated pay date is the 25th of the month following the shop date and I have found the checks to be dated on this date as well. However, I don't think they always get mailed promptly as I have received checks 2-3 weeks after the 25th and the postmarks indicate that the checks may been been delayed in being mailed.

I've always been paid and love working for the company, but this is a quirk I have noticed. Of course, ymmv

Thank you for the replies! I appreciate it!

One thing I find odd is that there does not seem to be a way to see your completed shops and their status. I can only see available shops and shops are are assigned before being entered. I wonder why?
That is just their setup. They have their own platform.

I have never done any shops for them...here's why. Whenever they have something in my area, I have to select the city. But it NEVER shows any details of the shop...never!! I have to wait for someone to contact me about the shop and give me the details. I don't like that. Seems like a waste of time on both parts...mine and the scheduler. What if the shop isn't a good fit for me??? The scheduler & I have both wasted each other's time. Am I missing something here with this??? Is there some way to get the details without waiting for someone to get back to me??? TIA

Why do you have to wait? I just send Elise an email and ask her what the shop is in whatever city. She usually replies pretty quick with the details.

I don't know, bgrif, since I've never worked for them, and that's what it said to do, I'd never really thought about contacting them ahead of time. Maybe I'll try it sometime....thanks.
Pam is my scheduler, and she is AWESOME! Their scheduling is unique in that you have to request through the scheduler and not self assign. She will happily give you the information you request.

BTW I got my check for March shops today. Right on time!

Sometimes I get emails from them with vague information. I pick up the phone and call Cathy. I usually start the conversation with mentioning their archaic methods. Lots of shoppers are unable to place calls during 9 - 5 hours to schedule, I wish they'd get with the program.

What vague information?

Perhaps a city location, but nothing more about the assignment.
Sometimes a city location, type of shop (restaurant) but no date range or specifics.

You can choose your dates. Once you are assigned a shop, you get the guidelines and the questionnaire. It's a different platform.

OK, so I just did a generic in-the-mall eyeglass shop for SSI.....I got an invite through email by JenniferB from Summit Scheduling....was provided a link for the guidelines, and to complete the shop online and submit it online, which I did. JenniferB said that the company pays via Paypal 45-60 days after the shop. SO.....I thought SSI was Satisfaction Services, but since posters here say Satisfaction Services pays by check, then WHO is SSI??? I can't find any company with a 3 letter abbreviation in the list of shops here. I know Jennifer is legit, as I do shops for other companies that she schedules for. There doesn't seem to be a website for this SSI, only the link I was provided to submit the report. Can anyone help me out with this??? I thought it was Satisfaction Services, but now I'm just confused....(Doesn't take much...haha!!)
