Water ice and ice cream shops

Does anyone know which MSC's do water ice and ice cream shops? I used to love doing them and now they must have switched to different companies. Anybody know?

I have done a frozen yogurt place for A Closer Look but I don't know how widespread the chain is.

A Closer Look does have a frozen yogurt place. I think it was done quarterly. I believe the chain is widespread through much of the US.
Shared Insight has (had) a national chain

Gelato and soft Italian Ice are, if not interchangeable, very similar. Water Ice is another form of essentially the same thing. Depends on the part of the world you live in.

I remember, as a child, the first time I had hard Italian Ice. I asked my parents why it was called Italian Ice if it wasn't soft.

I just saw an ice cream on market force.

MF has the ice cream shop again. They skipped shopping it last year but it's back. The shop may not be available in all areas. I have not seen the water ice store posted on Shared Insight or anywhere else.
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that the OP is referring to a small chain of stores called Water and Ice. Among the other things they sell is hand-packed Thrifty's Ice Cream behind the counter. If I'm right OP, no one can answer your question because per our ICA's, we can't reveal the MSC for any given company. It is nice though that others posters have given me some ideas for MSC's. lol smiling smiley

What's done is done. An egg cracked cannot be cured.
There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
Apparently water ice is something popular in the Philadelphia area and there are many stores that offer it. Here’s what I found:

I grew up in a neighborhood that was among other things Italian American...Our Italian ice was always soft. Since I moved away I have never had any Italian Ice that tasted like the stuff I ate growing up. Mostly what I have had elsewhere is hard and not nearly as glorious to eat. Ditto for the pizza. Even the NY Pizza places outside of NY do not really taste like the pizza I ate growing up. There's no place like home.
I have seen and done once a Rita's shop...not worth it.
Thank you to everyone for all your help. I guess I should have realized that since water ice is a Philly thing, shoppers from other regions might not know what it is. I will follow up on all the leads.

Thanks.
