Visual Standards Audit- Green Station

What is the protocol for the purchase when doing a Visual Standards Audit for a "Green" Maritz station that does not have a store? Based on google maps, two of the locations that I am doing this coming week look to be service stations with the typical walk in payment area but no actual store.

This situation is not covered in the guidelines, or the guidebook, and I have made three calls to the MSC, and none of people I talked to seem to think it is possible for one of these stations to not actually have a store. I have done the consumer audit at a similar location, so I know they exist.

Also, when I asked over the phone if "I should just get gas in this situation", they seemed to hesitate to say I should.

I've come across this situation several times. I've bought gas and just checked my log. I've been paid the $1 along with the fee. I wasn't sure about it being reimbursed, but there was no other choice to get a receipt. So, it worked for me. I have several outstanding yet and hope they will be paid as well. I needed gas anyway.

ETA: Be sure to add a comment about there not being a store at the end of the report to draw their attention to why you purchased gas for your receipt.
