Service Scouts

I received an email for a concert, so I added this company to my list of MSCs. After applying for a concert, I got an email to download a game to play, which made no sense. There was also mention of training, so I don't know if the game is training or in addition to training. Decades of shopping and downloading a game is a first. I checked the shopper area for training, certifications or any mention of qualifications, and there is nothing. I emailed the sender but, meanwhile, any shoppers that can provide insight? Thank you.

Never seen a game as training. I only signed up for one event with them. It was for a minor league baseball game, but after I saw the requirements, I had to cancel. They wanted pictures of every employee you encountered, including the parking attendant. What am I supposed to do, drive by with my camera out the window? I have to get a picture of the restroom janitor too? It was a ton of narrative and invasive photos for a measly $30. No thanks. They offered it at $70 and I still declined.

Unless you go alone, it is incredibly easy to get a photo of every person.
I just did my first game shop and I had to do a one-on-one training over the phone with them.
"It was a ton of narrative and invasive photos for a measly $30." This is very true. Your report for your first time will probably take 3-4 hours to complete. It may go down once you have done a few shops for them, but it is still a lot of narratives (1 paragraph for every person you interact with) along with quite a few yes/no questions for each interaction as well.
Thank you, everyone. I did hear back and was told downloading and playing the game was like a test - used instead of a lengthy writing narrative so it would be more fun. Pass.

I wrote 10 simple narratives. I spent about 10 minutes max on each.
100 minutes; let's round up to 120, so 2 hours.

If it takes a shopper 4 hours, they should not be doing these. This isn't a high end hotel report for Coyle.
