Hi,
Do any of you Mystery Shoppers know anything about what it's like to work for International Service Check as a Remote, Field Coordinator in 2017 and 2018? An honest, real response would be appreciated. Thanks.

What do you mean by "Remote"? I did a couple regular jobs (MS'ing) a couple years ago and they were fine.

Live consciously....
I just got a recruitment email from them and would like to hear what fellow shoppers have to say about them before I sign up with them.
They have a highly supportive and team-oriented work environment. Field Coordinator sounds like a scheduler or similar position. Remote work means that you work from home. You'll need a high-speed internet connection and designated workspace with little interruption. I currently work for them as an editor/proofreader, and I love the flexibility.
Translator1, that's pretty harsh. What did they do to you to make you feel "exploited?"

I worked for them as a scheduler. My motivation went from 100 to just about 0, in matter of few months. It was a big disappointment for me. They do not pay much but I was ok with that. There was a lack of conmunication or maybe cultural differences or different way of doing things and talking to the schedulers. I dis not feel that I was trained properly to do the job in efficient way. It was way too much time for $75 that I earned in two months! I would suggest that you give it a shot and see how it goes. You may have more luck.
- you get paid about $1.80 per shop when it is scheduled, done right and accepted. Maybe $2.50 with bonus.
- you will be told that there is lots of support. NOT!
- the training is unpaid and inadequate. 4 hrs
- you get thrown in and they expect you to perform at the same level as ppl who have done scheduling (veterans).
- they do not respect the shoppers. ( like on their calls)
- i do not recommend it. Its not for everyone. May be a good fit for certain types of people.
- this is not my opinion of the schedulers themselves.
Indianyooper was being generous. It is a bit less then $2.50. Do not rely on gettinga a bonus. You only get a bonus if you schedule all the shops assigned to you. My supervisor threw in new shops days before the duedate where I had to find a Chinese female shopper to do the retail shop, for example. Shopper also had to meet certain age requierements. One shop like this that is very hard to schedule can cause you to lose the bonus for all the rest of the shops that you have successfully scheduled. I like doing their shops thou and never had any problems. I really lost my motivation due to poor support, communication and attitude of my supervisor. Unfortunately. Maybe if you are aware of these rules and possible issues, it will help you stay on track and focused, and succeed. Their scheduling system is compleely manual but it can be fun once you learn how to do it.
I just performed my first shop today with ISC and can't get into the website to enter the shop details. I tried to reset my password but I can't log in with the credentials they sent me. I emailed the scheduler but it came back as undeliverable. I can't find any way to contact anyone. Not sure what to do.
I don’t know.... I did a shop for them recently and REALLY must have messed up! I did everything EXACTLY as they stated- including taking a photo with no people in it, but..... being new to mystery shopping, I thought I had to keep going back to the location until I was able to get a photo with no people. Anywho, the editor noticed the different times of day from my shop time in the afternoon vs. the photo in the evening. I explained everything to them and provided additional information. I was ready to be rejected and just learn from it.
I received a message saying they accepted the shop.
There I was, thinking everything was ok, and that I’d do better next time. Well.... I no longer see available jobs when I go to their board. I get emails from schedulers saying the jobs are available but I can’t seem to find them when I look. I guess my mistake cost me.

Trying to learn from all of these rockstars.
Majority of their shops are not posted and have ti be requested. When you see an email from the scheduler email them and ask them for the shops yiu want.
I tried to do a shop for this company last year. I signed up as a shopper on the website, then when I couldn't see that the shop was assigned to me, the scheduler said, "Oh, you need to sign up on our foreign (or US) site.". I signed up on the "other" site as instructed, and still couldn't see the assignment. The scheduler was no help and with the time difference, it just wasn't worth the hassle. There is plenty of work that is easier to come by.
Their schedulers are in the US, well they have american schedulers for north america. Also make sure you take the certifications.

Unless you live somewhere that has a lot of shops from them, I don't think that they are worth the hassle. Their system is a huge pain (scheduling through email only). I also don't think that they pay enough for the time that these shops take. I am not getting dressed up and heading into downtown LA or downtown SF for $15.

I've probably done less than 10 shops for them in 20 years.
@Rhonda: don’t worry. They do not post the shops on their website, the schedulers schedule all the shops (95%) manually; scheduler sends you an email.

I’ve seen $10 in CA and HI....or $10 pay, $8 reimbursement retail shop in SoCal..crazy
I completed one shop for them and have another coming up. They were the first company that requested a head shot and a full body shot. Their interface is a bit confusing and I lost all of my work after entering the report. The scheduler was helpful and friendly and I liked working with her. The shop itself and the form were both straight forward. Hopefully entering the assignment was part of the learning curve and the next shop will be smoother to input.
I have never completed a shop for them but wondered about their scheduling team. I live in Southwest Iowa, essentially Southeast of Omaha. I got an email asking me to do an emergency shop in Detroit. I politely emailed back to explain how far I was from the shop, figuring the scheduler might have me on an incorrect list. Scheduler emailed back with "what would it take? We need it done today." At that point I was feeling foxy and explained how I would need to charter a private plane because the time to drive to our nearest airport, pass through security, the flight itself, and trip from the airport would put me well past deadline. Someone must have had it with me because I was deactivated.
Here is my problem with them. I signed up with them a few years ago and only this summer did they have something available in my area. They contacted me via mobile and I accepted the shop and was paid well for it. But I was missing email communications with them. I changed my MS email address more than 2 years ago. Their emails were going to an old email address I rarely use. I've tried several times to update my email address in my profile on their website - there is no option. I've sent messages to them via the website, no response. I finally complained about it on FB and received a private message saying they would share this problem with their U.S. team - no response. About 6 weeks later I got another private message (via Fcool smiley asking me if my issue was resolved. I said "no". Again they said someone would contact me, no one has yet. I came here today, looking for another way to contact them.
I was just asked yesterday, via text, to do two shops for them at mobile phone stores. The text clearly stated they were $50 each. I was assigned the shops this morning at $50 for one but the second is listed at $14. I sent an email and text back saying I couldn’t do the two shops unless the total is $100, or $50 each as promised. Unless the scheduler made an honest mistake, this looks like a bait and switch. I’m waiting for a response now.
Once the shop is completed in the completed shops the additional bonus will show up. Ive never had any issues with them not paying what we agreed on.

But it’s odd that one shop already is listed at $50 and the other at only $14. I’ll wait for a reply before doing either one of them.
The scheduler changed the fee to what it should have been. So much easier to deal with pay issues before conducting the shop
