Ipsos in-flight shops

I haven't seen these before. Apparently it has to do with a flight attendant's announcement about getting the airline credit card Does anyone know anything else about these shops?

I couldn't find a scheduler in the guidelines so I applied for one of the shop and explained that I was interested in doing one but I would like more information on how to go about it. The certification is just basic information but I want to know if there is a certain flight I need to take and seeing as how I'm only doing this for the shop, I kinda need somewhere to go that is 500 miles one way. If I hear back from IPSOS ill relay the information back to this post.
The fee offered plus reimbursement will likely not cover a 500 mile trip on that airline, so unless you are already going somewhere and don't mind coughing up the other half of the money...
Oddly enough their original email said reimbursement would be up to $300 but now its $100. But from looking at flights, even the $300 wouldn't cover it.
I received an email before they posted the jobs on the board. I was made to take a certification test, which is what got my attention because that was in a separate email which stated that I was assigned to a job, which was really the test.

Showing $125 here, but was initially was $300. Flights to Vegas on some dates are less than $300, and I was considering that. Guess I'm too late since the fee was reduced. In my area, it makes more sense to get the 50% discount on SQM rather than $125 off this airline.

These are good for business travelers who want to double dip and bill their job for the full airfare. Basically getting cash back on your ticket.
Showing $100 reimbursement for me. I can get one flight within the distance for $175. It would be nice to be cover the rest with a travel allowance from a hotel shop, but the other MSC has not been responding.

That's the shop fee not reimbursement. They are only reimbursing $100 for the ticket but paying $125 to do the shop. That is why I sent IPSOS an email and per usual, they have yet to respond. The communication with shoppers is horrible.

Interesting,

Since this post, I've inquired about the shop and received a response from Bill.

What MSC do you use for hotel shops? I'm traveling soon and would love to get started on them.
I'm registered with Coyle, ACL and Regal already.

What was the response? $100 + $125 might be doable.

That particular airline is one of the more expensive ones, so still not going to cover the cost fully. But like SCM said, great for business travelers.
Depends on your arrival/ destination, date of travel and ticket class. I can find a flight over 500 miles from my city for $350 rt
That's odd. The cheapest flights I could find for a city about 500 miles away (I looked for the month of October) were $230 each way and had over a 2-hour layover, which I would never do. And they charge extra for luggage, too. I typically fly another airline that flies up to 2 bags for free.
Why would I do that when I only need to know the flight prices for one specific airline? The price showing on the airline's website is the exact same price as it is on 3rd party sites.

The matrix software lets you see a lot more information in one screen. For example if you wanted to fly JFK to LAX, for a 3 day trip. You search, set it to 3 days, and it will you show the price for a r/t leaving on any given day, in a monthly view. If I want to leave Sept 1, 2... 17... I can see it all on one screen.
The airline has a similar feature and I can see all prices for the entire month upon choosing one setting. If I am only shopping one airline there is no need to use the matrix software.

I just checked flights from my departure city to New Orleans, LAX, ORD, and DEN all over 500 miles and found tickets for less than 350. Denver was the most expensive at 348 for the cheapest ticket. Traveling on Thursday returning Sunday the second week of September.
That's nice. Not from my airport. I tried various destinations and nothing that cheap. But I do pack the kitchen sink when I travel, so I would have to factor in paying for 2 checked bags each way if I was going on an extended trip. But it sounds like you basically are breaking even, ticketwise, so even if I could find flights that inexpensive it wouldn't be much of a motivational factor for me since there are no places I really want to go at the moment.
My goal is to visit all 50 states.
I got assigned the Ipsos flight super fast compared with athpoweronline, their flights go super quick and it's so hard trying to get one. Their deal is better but there's places that I can go with ipsos so i'm happy
I've been to many of the US states, but not all, maybe half of them? Some I went to when I was so young I hardly remember (Hawaii). I would like to revisit there for an extended period of time and go to all of the islands (volcano eruption contingent).
