Second to none..trade in phone shops? Is this fake?

Hi, I just received an email..says from second to none stating they have a compliance shop requiring used phones being sent in the mail and attempt to trade them in..I don't recall the client selling phones? Have any of you done this shop,it just comes off as fake to me and a possible phishing attempt, but I wanted to check here first before completely disregarding it..

Shopping Idaho and Oregon/Idaho border region.

I got the email but it was to go to a store and trade it in, seemed legit, proper email address, not a spoofed IP (I compared iot to a previous shop I did with them), I would guess my email is real.

I did this last year. My scenario was 3 different phones. I had to see if they could be traded in, and report on the process. It is very legit. I would do it again.
I have done this assignment albeit several months ago. Three phones were sent to my home, which I took to the store to trade in. In exchange for the phones, I received a gift card, which was returned to the MSP. Quite simple, really. And when I contacted the scheduler with a question, I received a quick response.

If this is the same shop as before, they mail you the phones. You take them in and see if the store will accept them, None of my stores would. The ****** store does accept old phones for resell but they would not accept these (the client removed the SIM cards as I recall---hope I am right about that part, it's been over a year now) You want to see if they will accept them without the SIM card. They should NOT accept them apparently and no store did. It's more a test on ethics I guess.

You purchase $5 in merchandise to get your receipt. I really liked these shops. They paid $15. Not sure what they pay now. If you can't get the store to trade the phones, you mail them back. I can't remember if you paid for the shipping or if they provided a shipping label.
This shop flew off the board when it appeared in my area. My trigger finger wasn't fast enough. sad smiley

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
