We have had an unofficial official policy of employees disclosing. I have never seen a case where it was also supposed to include former employees. For example, JASFLMT has previously stated she was an editor for several companies, yet does not include it every time she posts about the companies because the relationship ended years ago. From my perspective, I've read wales recruiting for them so often, it just seems like common knowledge. I realize that may not be the case for everyone.
I guess my attitude is this. If we are going to include any and all former associations, we should just all be on the same page. Whichever way we go makes no difference to me. I'm just coming down on the side of consistent policies. Meanwhile, being asked about associations is nothing anyone should get in a huff about.

Any relationship, past or present, regardless of how long ago it may have been, with an MSC beyond accepting mystery shopping assignments, should be disclosed by a poster who is posting positive or negative information or giving an endorsement for the company. walesmaven's disclosure that she has recruited for them is good and should be noted with an endorsement. Any Servimer endorsement from BarryC should note that he previously scheduled assignments for them.
Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.
