PayPal Problems

I've been trying since August 2010 to get my account set up with paypal. I thought it was resolved, but have had 8 or 9 companies try to pay me with PayPal - all rejected and funds sent back to the companies. The shopping companies have told me, "We only pay by paypal, let us know when you get everything taken care of."

PayPal has frustrated the !@#@! out of my. Every time I send in an inquiry I may or may not get a reply (2-3 weeks later) asking for information - the same information that I have given them repeatedly.

I don't know what to do -- anyone else have this problem?

Please advise.

I would call their 800 number. Or, set up a new account. You can set up a new account per email address, per cc/bank account number. I have 4, and all are linked to the same account.

Paypal cant restore your account via paypal. They have to talk to you directly, and get certain information from you.
I would definitely get on the phone with them. I have never had an issue such as you are encountering.

Unless they have changed their rules, they have a two account limit.

Also they link accounts. So if one of your accounts has an issue, they had hold funds from your other accounts.
you can get around it though by giving them different emails linked to different banks... i had one account liked to ebay and had a situation so made a new one and had two before closing the other...

also it helps if you have a really common name... theres only 8 of me everywhere i go... and no im not named john smith...

My problems are still not resolved.

How can I get my money from the shopping companies? The funds have now been returned by PayPal, back to the shopping companies.

Any suggestions??

I tried re-doing my account from scratch -- didn't work. I only have one e-mail address.
probably get another email address... and send all your information again to the companies with the new email address that is linked to your bank account

i hear gmail works good and is really easy to sign up with...

I HAVE GMAIL .. I LOVE IT!!

I'LL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW. Thanks!
Actually I am not sure if the unseen pay is due to Paypal of the company for whom I've performed so far three shops for.

I did notice that they are good watch dogs on my account, because as soon as I called them, I got a customer service agent, who immediately pulled up my account and answered questions concerning my inquiry. Her responses were so quick to me that she or someone had to have been noticing when I went into my account to check it. I love that watch dogging and the fact that the agent was very prompt and suggested to me that I ask the company for whom I'd done the shops for a copy of their transaction deposit, which the mystery shop payroll person was not able to do. She was only able to tell me that the shop had been remitted okay for pay. Well, I could see that myself. The remittance of okayed shops simply says that the shops have been submitted to the shops' payroll dept not to the Paypal account.

Additionally, when my Paypal account was set up and linked to my bank account, Paypal deposited three very small amounts not over $1.00 into my linked bank account to be sure that all worked well. I was to email them back upon receipt of the funds. When I looked into my account, the small deposits that Paypal had sent to me were in my account. I was also told by the Paypal agent that wnen funds are received into an accunt, an email is sent similar to the one I received upon Paypal placing the small deposits into my account.

Hope this helps too in addition to the other comments from Paypal users.
