A-closer look scheduling -Assigned then unassigned other jobs after securing Pizza assignment.

I was approached by a scheduler and she offered few lucrative shops. After she scheduled me for some nice shops, she requested me to help with the pizza shops. Then, I agreed. Five minutes after assigned me for Pizza shops, she unassigned me from those first two lucrative shops that she offered me at the first place. I am not sure if this is ethical? anybody experience the same thing here?? I won't mention name, but the scheduler initial is EG.

if I cancel this pizza shop, would that jeopardize my status to get another shops in the future?
Contact the scheduler and ask why she removed the good shops and explain you only took the pizza shop to be nice since she had given you those other shops. Tell her if you can't have the other shops you won't do the pizza shops.

Edited because I was typing on my phone in the early a.m.

This is totally wrong. I would contact the scheduler and ask if there was a mistake. If things are not corrected, cancel the shop.

I’ve found that the schedulers with ACL are hit or miss. I had one that I loved, but she was replaced this past spring and the new person is tough to work with. I often pick up shops when I travel and have worked with other schedulers who are great, so I know they’re still out there!
Something similar happened to me, also with a nice shop and pizza shop. I wanted all shops canceled but I was concerned that it would hurt my standing with MSC. I was upset with scheduler and I did let her know. Scheduler assured me that if she cancels them, it will not reflect onto my history with them. Just ask your scheduler to cancel it. Of course, mention what happened
I have a few cancelled shops on my record that say they were cancelled by the scheduler. These were from a few shops the scheduler assigned me by mistake. The ones I cancelled say my name. So I think they only count the ones you cancelled against you. In this case it should reflect the schedulers name as the canceller.

I just checked and that isn't true in my case.
I cancelled one shop in 2014, one in 2015 and one in 2016. All by my request - change of plans.
I have 4 pizza shops cancelled (3 in 2017 and 1 in 2018). They were all assigned and then changed by the scheduler (their request). I recall that they wanted me to drop a future shop, so that I could do an urgent one at that location. I helped them out.

So, my history goes back to 2002 with them. 7 cancelled shops in 16 years. 3 by me (my bad). 4 by schedulers (their request). They all are formatted the same way on my end.
I just double checked and all except one of mine says unassigned by schedulers initials and partial last name. (5 shops)Only one was un assigned by me. I remember those as the scheduler either giving me the wrong location or jumping the gun when I asked about a shop and then got it assigned. The one I personally un assigned was because I called and found out there was no salad bar at that location so I opted to choose the location a mile from my house instead of the one 30 miles away with no salad bar. I thought it might be nice for a change but with no salad bar that is a sad day for me. Anyway i do not think any of these had any impact on getting future jobs.
Like someone else posted earlier in a previous thread I think it is not great to use good shops as bait to get people to do the pizza shops. There is only one pizza shop I care to do....not the others.
You can only do 4 shops at a time, so they will suspend a few in order to clear up your availability. Also, don't let them schedule a pizza shop if you don't want it. I am clear with them that the survey, timing requirements, etc. aren't worth it.
