ATH power not paying on time!!!!

Ath NEVER pays on time but this months is going to be the worst! I haven't received the bill.com email yet saying that payment is on the way. Payments don't process on weekends and tomorrow is Friday. Which means at best, that email won't arrive until next Tuesday because of the bank holiday on Monday and then one day for pay on Wednesday. We are looking at getting paid at best on 10/10 which is 10 days late from the payment guidelines that they set. They are one of the latest payments already. These shops are supposed to be from August. Why can't Ath care enough about their shoppers to pay on time?
We have mortgages and car payments to pay too. They will be the first company to complaint if a shop is not submitted on time yet they can be over 10 days late paying?
Last month they paid 7 days late.

When in August did you complete the shops?

I've always found ATH the be extremely reliable. However, their payment structure comes across as pretty convoluted initially, which can confound shoppers.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
After registering on the forum and posting this to the current Ath thread, the OP cut and pasted the identical post into a new thread in the General area. The moderator apparently removed it because it was a duplicate post. Now a few hours later, the OP has started a new thread and cut and pasted the same post again. How many times do we need to read the same thing?

roflwofl, I copied and pasted it in a different location because it was not posted in the correct area in the first place. Apparently you are not one of the shoppers not getting paid. You must work for ATH if you have such a problem with the post that you reported it. It's a forum. This is where you post your opinion about the issues of the mystery shop companies, not to take a personal opinion about a poster. If you don't like my post, you don't have to read it and certainly not respond. Your response had nothing to do with the actual post, just me.
Why do you care so much as to even pay attention to me being a new poster. It's a little personal. And why go out looking for my posts so much as to notice a duplicate post and notice it was removed.
And my shops are said to pay on 10/1. Not mid cycle on the 15th.
I've never known them to pay on the first of the month. Last month seemed like all the rest, to me.
They were late this month. Payment for my August shop was supposed to be 10/1. I reached out to my Scheduler who apologize for the Tardiness and acknowledge that payment would be late this month. I received an email from Bill.com that my payment will arrive 10/9

If you are this upset about not getting a payment by the 4th (date of the OP) that you were due on the 1st, you aren't going to make it long as an IC. Some MSC's you never have to worry about, ever. Others can be late from time to time, and this was not excessive. Having worked in Accounts Receivable for a hotel chain for 12 years before I started doing this, you should count your blessings how reliable some MSC's are, because in the real world, companies are going to be late from time to time, too. It's how they manage their expenses. We weren't just going to cancel their account because they missed a payment by four days.

I wouldn't use the payments from the MSC's that tend to be two weeks late as the money you rely on for major bills. Use the MSC's that pay like clockwork for that. Also, consider how reliable they pay when accepting jobs in the first place. Just like the accounts I dealt with, some you know will pay promptly right away, and others you know you probably won't.

For ATH, this is a somewhat common that they are late, and that should always be considered when factoring whether you take one of their job, or the somewhat longer, similar pay job of another MSC that you never have to worry about. Given the type of client ATH specializes in, it doesn't surprise me that they do this, they know contractor pay doesn't have interest or fees for lateness associated with it, and treat it accordingly.

As long as I get paid that is OK. If it becomes a habit of sliding back later and later I'll just not work for them anymore and they can be as late as they want to be because it won't matter to me.
I don't know who runs this board but I complained on here of not being able to open personal bank accounts (since I did so many fake bank jobs for them and wound up being flagged by the banks) and ever since then they have denied me other jobs - not that I'd ever do a bank job again though.

Apparently, opening accounts under the Ath ownership using a false/fake name is not acceptable. Why risk not be able to work for them. Using in my neighborhood Ath has almost 3000 shops on a daily basis. Except for speaking Mandarin and Spanish, I can easily apply for 10 different shops a week, and never go to the same Retail twice in 90 days. I would not risk a fake name with a legitimate account.

Also, Ath is not the only company performing bank shops either, so you can register with others. Plus, I enjoy their pay schedule. I would not use MSC pay arrangement to pay necessary life bills.

Agree with both EYE and 1234...Ath is late and generally trending later....My early August shops are being paid on 10/9 and 10/11, similar to what EYE wrote....That's 60+ days....seems like a long time....but that is not Ath's biggest problem....they have two things they need to fix:
1. The emails they send out advertising shops are way excessive...especially considering their rotation requirements (usually six months, sometimes less)
2. They ask for more info about 50% of the time, and once it is submitted, all that is left in the log for the OP (in this case, me) is the note where they ASKED! Nothing said about whether they liked my additional comments/data or if they received the response. The shop is just labeled "Complete". So, this happened two months ago, after not getting paid on a shop after 2+ months... I asked about the payment. Their response was that I didn't complete the shop. "But it is marked 'Complete'...", says I. "Whoops", says they...two more emails and both negative response...then 'crickets'...then another month of silence and then just as I was about to either write the whole thing off or lose my temper....a check arrives in the mail. Better late than never.
Yes, K..., its a good post, but what is missing is the 'heart of the matter'.....that Ath (and other MSC's) pay late because they can. The IC/OP is virtually powerless. Disney signs CONTRACTS to pay in 30 days and regularly, as a matter of policy, pays its vendors in 4 to 6 MONTHS. That's just bad ethics, IMHO...same with Ath.
