Informa Research Services feedback?

I'm considering doing a couple of shops for this company but wanted to check here before doing so. One thing I don't like is they pay by paper check..other than that the shops look easy. Have you shopped for them and do you like them?

Yes and yes. They do like a bit of detail but they pay well and on time. I don't mind paper checks.
I like them and they pay as scheduled. One thing to note, you have to physically print their worksheet and record your shop notes. This has to be uploaded to your report.

They are located in my area (30 miles) and are a standup company. I don't mind getting checks, it's fun to get the mail and see a check. I have done bank work for them, no problem, good company. They pay fairly considering their reports require a brain.

Live consciously....
I would not have thought of them as a start-up company. Their client range is wide and includes many leading financial institutions. Their staff is very fair and professional. Schedulers will go out of their way to accommodate shopper's schedules and will assist in building routes. They pay twice a month and I have never had to chase a payment. If memory serves, I have worked their shops for more than 10 years. The reports are straightforward.

I love Informa and their pay is very fair. The schedulers are awesome and easy to work with. And like Honny said, most of their shops do require you to print out the questionnaire and submit the handwritten form with your shop.
BUT, also note that you can write, "See typed addendum for all narrative answers." THAT is the key to effcient reporting with their format. And the editors LOVE not having to squint at shoppers' handwriting.

Depends on the client. I shop one of their big bank clients in NJ and they do not require this.
While contact with scheduling the shops was easy and consistent, when I did not get paid for 13 assignments has been a total nightmare. Go online and try to find anyone at this company that published their email or phone number. This is a global company with billions in assets, yet after almost four months the check I received was minus seven shops compensation. The check is in the mail is all I got for months as a response and now I have to start over trying to get the balance owed me. The scheduler claims she has know thing to do with payments and was only willing to forward my emails. But really, the amount of time trying to get paid by this mega billion dollar company is beyond ethical. I wonder if the CFO of the United States division has to wait months for compensation. Think about a highly regarded technology global company, that states on its web site are experts for the financial industry, "That do not use direct deposit!" If you like the terms, " The Check Is In The Mail!" this is the company fot you. I have completed now close to 1000 shops and audits and this truly is the only company that has caused me pain to collect what is owed.

Somehow, this does not sound like this poster is talking about Informa.

All of my Informa assignments come with contact information for the scheduler and I have never had a problem with no reply to emails. Moreover, I have spoken with several schedulers by phone.

I have to agree. I get paid regularly and with no issues. Phone numbers for people at Informa are very easy to find. This is just so bizarre.
All I ever see are online shops where you have to apply for multiple loans from different lenders and I'm afraid of those. I'll do platform inquiries all day long but I avoid account open/closes and applying for loans I don't want.
Those shops are great and you do not really "apply."

Oh, ok. Thanks to both of you for the info. I'll have to read the next posting a little more closely as I am obviously misreading something.
Can you please post the phone number, address, and contact name you have for Informa Research. I have searched the internet and can not get a number or address for this company in Florida. The company web site does not link to individual departments. Any help is most appreciated. Thanks

The Informa site is down due to the storm. But when it returns, just sign on, sign up, and look out for emails that contain scheduler contact info.

Never fit with their FICO score range requirements. Dang it but Happy to be where I am at.
They have a lot of shops with no FICO score limits, so it may be well worth a shopper's while to sign up and then just check out their emails. Good pay and great schedulers are a nice double treat.
