DSG Associates

I have read through the old, closed thread from 2016-early 2017 and wonder if anyone has more recent experience with this MSC. I am seeing a lot of CU shop opportunities from them that might make nice additions to a route, IFF they are reliable.

I am signed up with them but, I've never seen any jobs on the board. I guess they do not have anything in my area yet.

I do one shop for them every month. I don't have any issues with them except they nag like crazy and are very difficult to understand.

By nagging I mean they call over and over and over first to get you to take the shop, they to get you to review the shop, and then to remind you to do the shop. I don't like being treated like a child. And if you don't answer the 800 number, they will keep calling from a variety of numbers until you give up and answer.
I hadn't shopped for them in probably 10 years - and it was a chicken FF restaurant. I got a phone last spring to do price checks on the Missions app. One project was labeled such that I thought it was performed on a quarterly basis. I was inundated with work. Then since August, just as abruptly as before, I never heard from them again.
I've done their credit union shops. They're easy. I agree, they are difficult to understand on the phone and a bit of a pain with going on and on. There's always a lot of noise in the background too.

I noticed that as well. They call multiple times in one day, so I usually let it go to VM. One time I answered the phone, they called around 4:30 pm and wanted me to do a price audit on the same day. The store was on the other side of the town, so I told them I could not do it. Then they started to negotiate up the price and when I told them how long it would take me to drive to the store, they calculated the "hourly" pay for me to go do it and said it would be high enough for me to take the job. Neitherless to say, I told them "No" straight out. So, going forward, straight to VM.
I completed four assignments in 2009 & 10 at an airport car rental desk. All reports were called in to a typist, with my pay arriving as agreed in the amount of $30 each + reimbursement. I have not heard from them in eight years.
They are still around and reliable. I had to get nasty with the overseas people. I told them not to call. When I am at work, I have gloves on and am likely handling something hazardous. Since I have kids, I check the phone when it rings. So, if you don't mind being called ALL THE TIME, they are fine. They don't email very well.
Their phone bills must be humongous. Email is free and then they can pay the shopper more for the job. Even those 800 numbers have different price levels depending on how many calls you make and receive I think. From overseas it would be even more. And how annoying. I will add them to my pole list along with the robo company that called me at 6 AM to tell me it is medicare sign up time.
I all ways get this (There are no available visits in your area at this time.) Except for the first month, I signed up with them. They had a couple of CU shops.
