What did she say when you politely and professionally asked her about the reduction in your score?
I'm not surprised. I'm sure after reading a forum post accusing her of fraud Brittany will never work with you again and setting such a low score probably ensures that no other scheduler with Intouch Insight works with you. It's usually better to communicate directly with a MSC/scheduler and try to work things out. It also helps to keep it cordial. Accusing someone of fraud is not too cordial, especially when you post on an internet forum and use their name. I guess you may be getting some satisfaction out of slamming someone publicly and maybe it's worth it to you. I wonder if Brittany will post about you using your name on the scheduler forum on Volition and let all the other schedulers know what she thinks of you. You've made your complaint very public to any shoppers who read here, and Brittany can make her complaint very public to all schedulers who read on Volition.
I agree with roflwofl. There are schedulers in this forum who could easily ask this scheduler for your name so that they can ensure they never work with you either.
I will never work with them anyway.
And I feel like many MSC take advantage of Mshopper, so I am not going to lower my self accepting any crap from schedulers. I always tell how I feel. There are hundreds of MSC's I work with. So no regrets.

I'm always amazed when someone will publicly drag a scheduler or MSC through the mud for a what... $15 shop? I've had issues but always keep my future bottom line in the forefront of my mind. I once didn't get paid for a $90 shop and it was not my fault, but I never said a word here about it because I knew I would make thousands in the future with that company. There is such a thing as human error and it happens on both sides. i prefer when we can amicably and professionally work it out. And if we can't I will still be circumspect unless the company is out and out scamming or not paying.
When you drag someone through the mud professionally, it really says more about you than it does about them.
The old saying, "Don't poo where you live.", comes to mind. With such a drastic drop in shopper score, I'd wonder what in the world could have happened. I would not have jumped to FRAUD.
There was no human error.
The scheduler assigned 2 shops to me, but when I got the guidelines I noticed that I have to go into the store and show ID, which wasn't stated in the short info before you sign up. I did not agree to show ID and asked the scheduler to remove the shops. She did and didn't lower my score. A few days later I signed up and got approved for 2 shops ( to take pictures). I did both shops, even got 2 badges, but later the editor didn't approve the shops because she said she couldn't see the menu prices, but I could. I sent better pictures, but the scheduler already removed the shops without lowering my score. I did argue about this, and she lowered my score by 60 points for the 2 previous shops, plus the last 2 ones. This is unprofessional and unethical. I didn't complain about not getting paid, but about lowering my scores, after she actually was fine with me not doing the fort 2 shops.
I wish you the best Miss Shopper. I am not saying you are right or wrong, or that Ms. Goodman is right or wrong, but my advice would be to take this offline with her. No good will come of airing it here, and most people we see it for a one on one issue and not avoid her based on your experience.

In past lives I have tried to do things in the public way you are doing here and it never seems to work out for me. I think if you and her had a chance to sit on a call and do a civil back and forth you may find some common ground and maybe even repair the relationship.

Have a good day.

The editors are typically the ones that adjust the scores, not the schedulers. You may be smearing someone that had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Shops,

Why on earth is it such a big deal to show ID?
The point was that this requirement wasn't disclosed. People have different levels of comfort when it comes to privacy.

KInd of like when you go into a store and they ask for your zip code?

IMO There is nothing wrong with that. If the cashier ask for my zip code I will be glad to give it to them. But I know people who don't like to give that..
You can give a fake zip code. You can't give a fake ID.

You know what I mean.

In my experience, not ALL the requirements are listed up front. But as was done by the OP, if a requirement shows up that one is not comfortable with, simply email the scheduler and ask to be removed. They're human and know this as most are shoppers too. And as has also been stated, grading on reports is done by the editors. But I have a question. If a shopper requests and then does not do (not the case of the OP), is the grading done by the editor or the scheduler since it was the schedule that was missed?

I'm sure it depends on each individual company. For Shoppers' View, it is up to the scheduler to keep track of shops until they are submitted as completed. Therefore, if a shop is left at new or incomplete past the due date, it is the scheduler that removes the shop and issues a citation if needed.
