Does any one here shop often for A-Closer-Look?

And feel comfortable providing me with a recommendation for the scheduler job?

The wolf is at the door, and I'm absolutely desperate. My car is still in the shop, it's over $500 to get it back, and I've only completed one shop this month for $30 -- and it was an hour away, and cost me $20 in gas to get there and back!!! (I had a route, but due to the car breaking down, was only able to complete one of 27 shops!).

I have a background in sales, and experience in persuasive writing (press releases, ad copy, etc.). I'm willing to buy whatever technology is needed to do the job.

You can check my posting history (please do!) to read and see if I'm a person you'd be
comfortable recommending.

Thank you for considering my request.

Yeah, I didn't even need to read any posting history to feel comfortable in offering a recommendation. I also sent an email to two of the schedulers.
Sorry to hear about your rough patch. Have you tried app based jobs like Uber, Lyft, Via, Rover, Doordash etc? IIRC they pay weekly, some daily.
Well, without a car, one cannot deliver. Plus there's none of those within about 100 miles (nearest qualifying town/city is 170 miles away). And without a car, I can't get to any of the Field Agent/WeGoLook, or PrestoInstaShops.

Think rural..boonies...towns all around with fewer than l,000 residents. No fast food. No computer stores. No big box stores. No cell phone stores.

Not even a Walmart, LOL!!!!
Hi Cease - Sorry to hear of your tough times. Here's a place to check out other ways to make money from home - I know this sounds scammy, but I swear it's not. I have my fingers in multiple pies to keep money coming in. Check it out, maybe you'll see something. If not today, maybe in the future. (I don't make any money or accrue anything from recommending this site.) realwaystoearnmoneyonline.com
I hope things start looking up for you! You can always try amazon work at home jobs. They are hiring. Also, you can look through this website and see...[ratracerebellion.com] . If A-Closer-Look would hire you as a scheduler, I might sign up with them. You've been doing this line of work for a very long time and deserve their attention.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I got an email the other day from A Closer Look advertising scheduler jobs. They have a lot of requirements, including a heavy technology. They require online capability and at least a DSL or Broadband internet connection and they want to know who the internet provider is. They want to know how old the desktop /laptop computer that will be used is, how many GB of storage it has and the operating system, and they want an applicant who has Outlook or Windows Mail. They want someone with office equipment and a home office. They want heavy computer experience, including Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher and a good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, the ACL website, Facebook, and other shopper recruiter resources. Then there are a lot of experience and personal questions. It looks like they are setting the bar pretty high and they say 30-35 hours weekly would be required but there's no mention of payment.
Thank you for sharing the requirement, roflwofl. At this point it doesn't matter because they won't hire schedulers who don't have a certain amount of shop history with them, and ceasesmith hasn't done a lot of shops for ACL.
I've shopped for them for over 16 years and was turned down for the scheduler's job. I asked why, but they won't tell me. Ironically I have scheduling experience, as well. Go figure!

Maybe they think that you won't be happy working for $5 an hour? Just a thought.
