Field Agent app taking over gas shops

This is a special signage project. It is not the regular audit. You can do both while on site if you see fit. They are going for $10-$15 in my area.

Happy to hear this. Thought the regular audit was too much for FA and this confirms it. There were initially many in my area, but I was too busy with other things. One of the ones left was at a station I did the regular audit at today, but didn't want to double dip, moreso not to make the main MSC upset met, not as much FA. Might look into doing one, if they are available this weekend. Glad its not the regular audit moving, and if its another chance to make money with the client through FA, then all the better.

I did two yesterday. They are easy and quick. If you already have a vest, go for it. I did one right after doing the regular monthly audit for the MSC. They know me anyway at most of these places.

Got a chance to do one today- interesting focal point. Very smooth; signed up to do more tomorrow. No reason to be concerned about the main audit jumping ship.
have done 19 of them since the 6th, and none have been approved yet. anyone else having theirs take forever?

They are backed up on processing for many projects right now. I just got paid for a shop done the 2nd.
I've done about 10 of the ExxonMobil audits. $10 per shop. Taking photos of CC machine, pumps, price sign. Super easy. I was new to app (used to submitting reports via laptop).
HOWEVER, I am a TRUE FAN now. Everything you have to submit is done via the app on site. Once I finished taking all the pics, I just hit the submit button in the app. I was finished with that job and went on to the next one. One job took me about 20 minutes, the next (with fewer pumps) only took about 15. I plan to start doing more jobs with FA whenever I can. The app is the way to go. I'll post later about payment.
I have not been paid for these either. Completed on the 6th. Very unusual for FA to be so slow. Not responding to inquires. Other work done after these have all been paid. Strange indeed
FA has posted that they are backed up on processing. As for other, later jobs lready processed, it is likely one of two things: if they were from a different project then that project may have a more urgent due date, and received priority in QA, or if they were from the gas station project, then the one not yet processed may have an issue requiring further review.
I finally did one of these at a small gas station with three pumps. It was great. Then I did with 24 pumps. Never again. I had to take photos of most of the pumps - definitely not worth the fee for that.
To ceasesmiith above.
It is surprisingly easy to learn how to take a screen shot on your phone. Google "how to take a screen shot on an < insert your phone model.> It is usually a button on the side in the case of some later i phones or a combo of pushing two buttons together. Once I made the effort to learn I was delighted. I found it easier than taking a pic because you don't have to open an app, select a view, aim the camera or wait for focus! It becomes an image in your pics.
Be brave!!! It is easy to learn. If that fails, ask a teenager.

Where does FA post ? (...posted that are backed up on processing...)

FB
@Jodyjeanne I have had some approved. I don't think that FA posts anywhere. They do respond to any comments you submit in the comment field of the jobs. I know that in the past I've been told they are busiest during Nov-Dec so they are probably just backed up. They are good for it. It sucks but we have to be patient.

As I said above, they posted this on Facebook.
there's never been even close to this much of a delay with FA in the 3 years i've done work for them. got 19 of these still pending dating back to the 6th.
I had a “buy and try” pending for about a week and it finally got approved and paid yesterday. I did email their customer service and they replied that they were backlogged.
Everything I have done other than these has been paid. I am wondering if the client is the holdup on paying these? They may be slow to approve.

As for the audit itself, I have not had one take more than 10 minutes, however I have been doing mine late evening. It is worth noting that because of the special nature of this audit there is no reason you can't do them late, so long as they are open and the canopy lights are on.
field agent rejected all 19 of mine due to what I was wearing. i wore a big bright orange valet jacket which i have worn on all of my gas station inspections over the last 4 years with no problems. you can spot the thing 5 miles away. while it may not "technically" be a safety vest it is essentially the same thing. totally sickened by this, got them all the info they needed at each location, and they're rejecting me over this.

That’s rough. Did you try responding to the rejection email & seeing if they will reconsider?

I’m relieved to hear that it’s a secondary audit and not the main one, but it does still worry me to have any kind of “app” moving in.
