My guess is the ones that require the most amount of work/time from you. You can only find this out by signing up and working with them. My best pay days were never with base pay, so you will have to figure out bonuses, etc. into your formula. Just because you see a high fee does not mean you will get paid the most. Think about a job that pays 100 dollars, but takes you 12 hours, as compared to a job that pays 15 but takes you 15 minutes.

Some of the same companies who pay the least for some jobs also pay the most for others.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Most mscs range for 5 dollars up to 40...
I recently shopped an msc that was offering an 85 dollar bonus...it was a 2 hour drive for me but for me it was worth it. I could have probably waited one more day for a higher bonus but I got nervous that someone else was going to snag it

It depends on the desperation. We once went to a cable company for five minutes, and I got paid $95. This was normally a $12 shop. They needed it done.
The end of the month is usually a good time for shoppers. My sports bar usually has a $10 fee. The last few days of the month offered $20 bonuses.

12 hours on a report...I can't imagine that.

I don't think the post meant 12 hours just on the report (but I've done some that sure FELT like 12 hours, LOL); I've done plenty of shops that took more than 12 hours when you count drive time.
It all depends on the bonuses that are available. One of my favorite MSCs is one that I’ve seen a lot of people complain about as being “cheap” on here — but they shop a client that I go to anyway, and after I built up enough of a rapport with them they started offering bonuses, and we would negotiate on them. Now it’s to the point that they text me and my bonus is automatically part of the deal, no negotiating needed — and it’s not a bad bonus. They are now one of my favorite MSCs — but it took a couple years to get there.

I work a full time job and shop on the side — as I’ve done this for longer, I find that my favorite schedulers reach out to me more as the end of the month approaches for harder-to-reach locations that are well worth it — like the $100 bonus 5 minute cable shop or the $80 bonus “make sure they put a poster in the window of the farm supply store” shop. I’d say my shopping is now 80% skewed to the last second half of the month, and I’m making more money now than I did when I first started 4 years ago and took everything I found interesting at any time of the month.

So I can’t really give you an example of a good “high paying MSC” — with the exception of Mintel. Mintel is one of my favorite MSCs — they don’t have a ton of projects — they seem to happen 2-3 times a year — but these have been some of the most interesting projects I’ve ever done, and they pay is more than fair.
