Has anyone done ACL's makeup shop?

The guidelines say to take 3 interior photos, but they don't state what of, or where inside you're supposed to take them. The guidelines say it's more important to get the photos than to be "outed" as the shopper, and you'll never be able to shop there again because you'll be identified as the shopper.

Does anyone know what photos you're supposed to take inside the location?

I did this and it was a very small shop. I just took photos of the displays. I had no issues getting the photos either as there was one salesperson so when they reached for something I quick snapped.
Someone told me I can take the photos with my iPhone and e-mail them to myself.

How do you get the photo from an e-mail and into the report? That worries me, too.

Did you think the guidelines on the photos were not specific? I, too, am going to a very tiny shop, where the targeted brand is on one shelf.
To get photos from your phone to your computer, use your bluetooth feature. Click share by bluetooth on your phone, receive files on your computer, and select the folder.

Check your email, click on the photo. right click to copy image, paste to pictures folder on your computer. When you enter the shop report, click on open in the report when it asks for photo, and bring up your pictures folder. Voila! Hope this helps.
You guys are too, too funny! I've never been NEAR a Bluetooth (except maybe during an audit), and I'm quite sure I don't HAVE any Bluetooth capabilities. I'm trying cjb's method right now, and I'll let you know if I succeed! Thanks for the detailed, step-by-step instructions. Perfect for this tech dinosaur, LOL!
WOW! It WORKED.

Thanks so much for your patient explanation. Even I was able to follow it. I can now send a photo to my e-mail and put it in a "new" folder under "my pictures", and retrieve it for reports!

I cannot thank you enough! Really and truly.
I was in your predicament for a long time. Thankfully my youngest daughter and tech savvy son taught me a few tricks. Glad to be of help.

I am a visual and audio learner so it takes me a little longer to get the hang of new ways to do things.
Yes, I've had this i-phone for a year now, and didn't have a clue. I couldn't download direct to the computer, it always just said it couldn't find any pictures or videos. But this method worked just fine. I printed it out, so I can keep the info in front of me, LOL! I learn best from the written word; audio just loses me.

Thank you again.
Additionally, if you have a cable that can connect your phone to your computer, you can connect them that way and directly download photos into a folder onto your computer. I have to relearn this every time I get a new phone since I usually get a different phone model and they each behaved a little differently. I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S9+. But, iPhone's are way more user friendly than any Android phones so probably your phone would "walk" you through the process after you plug it in. Other iPhone users could tell you more about it than I can.
Sure, I have the cable. But all the computer ever tells me is "no photos or videos found on this device".

But e-mailing them will work just fine, so I'm not gonna worry about the other aspect! Save what few working brain cells I have left for stuff I'll need, LOL!!!
It could be your cable—some only transmi power to the phone while others will transmit data as well
