Anyone have anything good to say about Cirrus Marketing?

@Niner and @ksurmann:

Have you submitted your invoices? You won't get paid if you have not submitted invoices in accordance with Cirrus' policies. (They have a special form to send out and email to invoice@cirrusmktg.com.) If you have done so, I suggest that you submit them again and cc Monnie Howard (the owner) at mhoward@cirrusmktg.com. I have had to chase payment several times for them, but have always had an immediate response from Monnie when I have emailed her.

Note, as mentioned above, they do have very slow pay schedule - the slowest I have seen in the industry. As of last week folks should have been paid for their September 2018 shops.

Yes. I am absolutely meticulous about submitting my invoice on time. I keep a copy of every submitted invoice when I used to work for this notorious company because they failed to pay almost every single time. I need proof to show that I submitted the invoice on time with full accuracy. Amazing they don't even send an email reply after 5 months of non-payment! Several times when I finally called them up and was able to reach a live person ( after waiting a painful 5-6 months, they told me they forgot to pay me. When I politely asked why, the lady from the Accounting gal simply said "Well, things fall through the cracks sometimes". The problem is, "things" fall through the crack with this company EVERY SINGLE TIME! If their shop report were any simpler or if their owner was half-way decent and not so mean, AND if their accounting (Accounts Payable folks) for once had their act together, I would have considered picking up some of their bonuses shops. But you have to be a sadistic person who enjoys to repeated torturing yourself to be willing to work for this shady (to put it in a nice way) and extremely unprofessional company again.

Ugh. I have a shop I did for them in November that still hasn't been paid. I did three in January. I guess I'll have to fight for it....

I did submit my invoice for November in December, so I was planning on "waiting" for my pay, but maybe I should start to contact them....
Something good to say about Cirrus? Well they are from California and thats a nice place to be from. Of course, a state as large as CA has its share of bad things too.

There is a large supply of new shoppers ready to take their jobs. Keeping the shoppers is their issue, I assume.

I did a 3 shops for Circus and sent the invoice even a Month 4 payment follow up email! They said that they would pay me this month for a shop I did in late January STILL no payment, I have emailed TWICE. I get worried and they are the FIRST I really have to chase for payment...Sadly I NEED that extra cash but good thing I picked up some extra FA shifts cause damn this is bad. They owe me about 100 bucks (even slow as iSS MSCs still pay faster than this company WTH). Yes $100 is a relatively small amount however, I read the stories and figured I can wait 4 months this can be my extra...now my extra is needed and they are NOT reliable. I will NOT be shopping for them again, good to give a chance ONCE but non payment for a MSC means they are cancelled. My only hope is I get my money if not time to stomp feet and pound pavement for $100 to pay my phone bill and CC payment.

Don't they have the ridiculous big-box furniture company (where you put it together yourself)? That was my first 10 ft pole shop from reading this forum!

I LOVE that big box furniture store but absolutely hated the shop.
I loved the shop, every aspect of it. I detest any MSC who makes me chase payment.

I complete shops for Cirrus, from time-to-time, with very significant bonuses. Given interest rates today, Cirrus could likely reduce their overall costs by getting a line-of-credit with the bank and offering quick pay to shoppers. But they choose to not do so. The penalty is not only is their reputation poor, they must offer big $$ to get the shops completed.
I have one shop i do that i like
I do apartments with big bonus.
I resend that invoice 5x and cc to 5 people.
They are either my number 1 or 2 MS$ source depending on how many gas station routes into the middle of nowhere I can book with Maritz in a given year. They are currently on track for #1 this year, and represent about 40% of my income year-to-date.

I could give a hoot about how long it takes any particular company to pay. I'm all about building a monthly residual income, and I like having accounts payable out there.

I only do bonused shops for them as the work is not worth the base pay. The owner is always very nice and very responsive when I have to remind them an invoice is past due.
