Intellishop fat fingers payments again

So for the second time, they sent me payments in error. They want the money back however I am not seeing a refund option on paypal to get the money back to them. Does anyone know how to process a refund on pp? I am going into the payment detail/activity and I am not seeing this option.

Look for the other thread. There is a detailed message near the current end of messages that actually explains how to send them money when there isn't a refund button. Basically you send them money as a friend so you don't get charged. I did it about an hour ago.

You can reject the payment.

That option is not available to me either.

Just heard about this snafu today. Are they really asking us to send back all the money they sent in November or just the overpayment?

In an email I was told the amount of the overpayment, but I want to know the amount they think they sent me, before I send them anything back. I think the difference should be what I'm owed for October.

As an FYI I checked the amount they wanted me to return, against what pay pal shows they sent, minus the payments I was owded for October shops, and the numbers don't add up. Nor I did receive a double payment of the amount that I was due. I didn't see any promise to pay the correct amount at some time in the near future. Did someone else get an email telling them that the correct pay would be sent again after the return of October's money. This all seems confusing and messy.

In an email it took them 5 minutes to reply telling me what I owe, after an hour I'm still waiting for a reply to the question, how much in total did you send me.
Why are you waiting for an email from them when you can see how much they sent you on your PayPal statement? You should refund the entire amount sent. They will then send you the correct payment. It makes for easier bookkeeping. Some have already received their corrected payments so I'm not sure why you would be concerned about a reputable company.

Because that's how I roll. You say you made a mistake, and I owe you. Then you need to be transparent in your communications. The amount they asked for is less than the amount that posted to PP. The difference is less than my shops. Sometimes the numbers just need to jive.
Good grief. I have had this happen with other companies. I just send back the entire payment then they re-issue the correct payment. Why make a mountain out of a mole hill.

I wanted to add this. I don't see the point in treating clients like swindlers and the MSCs are our clients.

Well, another 20th of the month is here and so is an Intellishop payment issue. I received a payment amount that was more than what I needed to be paid. Is this a christmas bonus? lol, or just the second straight screw up? Has anyone else received their pay? It appears they paid me twice for one shop that I did.
I was unable to refund via Paypal and left town. I just mailed them a check, but won't keep doing this...their loss, my gain, get it straight, I haven't done a job for them in months, why pay me? This is an honest error (I believe), and I certainly did my share to rectify it, but happening twice in a month say's something, and I feel for the ones that should have but didn't get paid......messy!!!

Hmm, I received a correct payment today for all November shops. I performed the pizza and fast food burger shops.
I'm just surprised that Intellishop had the same mistake two months in a row. Somebody in payroll needs a "talking to."

They haven't caught it yet but I'm sure I'll eventually get a note asking me to refund the overage. This is the second month in a row and at least the 3rd time they've fumbled the payments leaving me to have to refund something.
I did 21 shops in November but their Paypal payments was only 20 and some payments were not the right amount. I am trying to figure out which is which but there is no info in Paypal. That Transaction ID does not help. It is their own internal accounting number. I went through their Job Log but Paypal payments does not matchon all of them and I don't know which sequence they are in. How do you reconcile your payments ?
I keep a spreadsheet with shops assigned. Once I complete them they are labeled as ar, accounts receivable. That amount includes fee and reimbursement if any. That is the amount they owe me and the amount that should be on PayPal activity one for one.
