auto dealership shops

New to the board. Does anyone know which companies do shops for General Motors other than Cadillac, Ford and Lincoln, Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram_Fiat-Alfa, Honda, Lexus, Infiniti, Nissan, Maserati, RollsRoyce, Kia, Subaru, Mazda, MiniCooper? I have seen companies offering shops for Cadillac, BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, VW and Hyundai.

Since more than 2/3 of the auto purchase shop clients are the group franchisees, not the car makers, the answers will be different for any geographic area. In my area, for instance, there is one "family of dealerships with 8 locations. spread across those locations they specialized in about 10 different makes of cars. A different MSC handles all of the 12 locations for a different "family" of dealerships, and that one covers almost every brand on your list. Your best bet is to be sure to sign up with more that 100 MSCs and watch for what is offered within 100 miles of you. New car shops can make very profitable routes if you choose carefully. If a test drive is included, I would not take one for less than $65. Video ones should start closer to $100.

I do not know if anyone can answer that questions. You can ask what companies shop automobiles, but you are naming the client and we are not suppose to put the MSC and client together.
I agree with the fee advice stated by Wales; these jobs can become quite lengthy. I have had two run approx. four hours for prep, drive, shop and report.

Walesmaven, do you ask for an extra bonus for dealership shops? I did one that was supposedly bonused for $32 last month and you're right, it was a lot of effort and time for that amount. It's the end of the month again and they are offering $40 this time but I'm reluctant to take another one for that.
I just skip anything for auto dealers that starts below $60, so, no, I am not asking for a bonus on those low-ball offers.
Edited to add...
Why take such a shop for $35-45 when you can make $30-40 just calling a lender about a mortgage? Time to diversify your list of MSCs and branch out to better paid client/industry areas.

See Level appears to be qualifying shoppers for their program which pays $75. I am not familiar with their programs.

Many MSCs advertise their dealership shops on the available job boards.

@ Isaiah 58 ...this 75.00 car negotiation shop is one that you may wish to look into before accepting. I have completed a few of these shops and, after being invited to leave a showroom by the sales manager while trying to conduct part 2 of this negotiation shop, that was it for me. some shoppers like those shops, so who knows. I dislike not being paid for work performed or prevented from completing an assignment through no fault of my own. Bottom line ? no thank you very much I don;t need the stress.
Unfortunately, with SeeLevel, you have to make two visits, and deal with the gentleman (and I use that term loosely) that runs that program for them.
I once had to report that I was given the "bum's rush" out of a dealership.

I got paid in full, though.

These salespeople are supposed to treat everyone who walks in like they have a million dollars to spend (yes, even if their boots are spreading manure across the pristine floor!).

The client wants and needs to know if one of us is given the bum's rush.

Another dealership, the salesman tried mightily to steer me to a "just traded in yesterday"
cute "little Toyota" when I was there for a new car.

I got paid in full for that one, too, even though I couldn't get it through to the salesman that I wanted a new car! I even ASKED for the test drive, and was not allowed. He actually said, we're too short handed, can't spare anyone to go with you!

I just can't imagine why you didn't get paid, SS4U.

Edited to add: geesh, you guys must be geniuses. I've re-read the OP 3 times, and still can't figure out what the question is.

I did not mean to open a can of worms.

That aside, I sell cars for a living so do not perform any dealership related assignments.
