Tracking pay for various companies?

Good morning, all.

I'm a new shopper with about 30 shops under my belt. I've yet to receive my first pay from any of them, though, although I have no holds or anything like that. I looked at the "MSC pay schedules" thread, and I keep a google calendar of when I did a shop, what company it was for, and what the promised pay was. After going through the pay schedules thread, I also added on my calendar when pay was due for the shops I have done.

My question is this: one company that I have done 2 high dollar (well, for me) shops for requires an invoice to be submitted, and I have done so. But after the invoice is submitted, I have no way to view it. The shops show up in my list of completed shops, but there is no indication about the status of the invoice.

I'm also confused about who I should be contacting for questions about this....it was scheduled by one company but shopped for another.

How do you more experienced shoppers track when you should be paid for shops? I have IC Pro, so my invoices are submitted automatically....is there any place I can see what invoices have been submitted so I can make sure nothing got missed?

Thank you

If the company you are talking about is Martiz CX, I haven't found any way to track payment yet through their website. I get a direct deposit from them, so I just wait until I am paid. I will make a screen shot of the invoice once I submit it and keep record of it in my books. If you need to contact them, you can click the "Help" at the top and then click "Contact us". Calling them is better. 800-782-4299 is the number I have. You will call the company that you performed the job for, not the scheduling company.

Thank you! Yes, that is exactly who I was talking about. It’s confusing because I did a shop for them that was a bank shop due 10/31. I was in the bank and 3/4 of the way thru the shop, the computers went down and it couldn’t be completed that day. I called MaritzCX, and they extended it to 11/2 because they wanted me to finish with the same banker I started with if at all possible. That banker was off 11/1. I went in and completed the shop as planned 11/2, submitted it to MaritzCX 11/2. That was my first shop like that, and I didn’t know to also go back to the scheduling company to submit. I figured that out on 11/11, and confirmed on 11/11 on the schedulers website that it was submitted 11/2.

Is the scheduling company going to think it was late? And how can I be sure the invoice was received? If I understand MaritzCX pay schedule, this should count as a shop completed in the first half of November (regardless of whether you consider it 11/2 or 11/11) which should mean I am paid at the end of November, right?

The only place I have found to track pay status is on GigSpot. I wish there was something on IC Pro to list which invoices have been submitted. sad smiley
You are welcome. I can't comment on the scheduling company because I've never had to submit a report on the main site and then go back to the scheduling company to submit it again. Apparently, I haven't used that scheduling company before. I submit my report once and that's through Martiz.

If you go to the section of this forum for 'Mystery Shopping Company Discussion', you will find pinned to the top of that section a payment guide on the MSC's.

Maritz (from the 15th to the 31st) the 15th (Check) = Mailed on the 15th
Maritz (from the 1st to the 14th) the 1st (Check) = Mailed on the 1st

I also believe you get paid from the date they approved the report; not when you submitted it.

I liked IC Pro when I tried it but, it doesn't do everything I really would like it to do. I would like to see them update and add more features. There are only a handful of MSC's that you have to manually go in and submit an invoice. I believe there was a thread not too long ago concerning the companies that require it.

You might try this spreadsheet for tracking shops. It won't address every issue you've raised but you'll be able to track shops much better than with the calendar.
