Make sure you reconcile payments

In September, I received a notice from iSecretShop for a shop in July:
"A review of system records indicates that you may have not received payment for one or more of the shops you’ve performed.

iSecretShop is not a Mystery Shopping Provider and we do not pay shoppers, however, our shoppers are very important to us and we want to help ensure you are paid every penny you are due.

Please check your accounts and confirm before taking any action. If you determine that you have not been paid, please review the message below to get resolution.
According to our records, you have not been paid for the following assignment(s):

I contacted the MSC and first they told me a check would be mailed at the end of the week. When I had not received it in two weeks I emailed again. Then if I had not received by the end of the next week let them know. Finally got it on the Friday.

I had already completed another assignment in September so I was tracking the 2nd payment. They reported to iSecretShop that they paid on 11/12 but still no check or Paypal payment.

Stay tuned.

It was mighty nice of them to send you an e-mail.

As self-employed people, it's up to us to track payments due.
One of the MSCs on the iSS platform is late paying me as well.

I found out that a company had underpaid me by about $400 because they had sent out the payments with an amount of $0.00 rather than $9.00. I happened to notice when I was going though my payments and checking them off that I was missing money from my PayPal that showed as paid on Sassie. Glad I caught it!
