Cracked iPhone repair shop

I signed up to complete a screen replacement shop on my old iPhone 5s. I’ve read all requirements and seems straightforward. I’m a bit nervous since I’ve not done shops for the MC before and the out of pocket reimbursement is close to $200 for the repairs. It’s a phone I no longer use but my kids could if it’s repaired. I am a long time mystery shopper. Has anyone completed this shop and have words of wisdom?

I've done the repair shop for About Face, but not for Confero. The About Face one is pretty straightforward and I've not had any issues with payment. Actually did two, one a screen replacement and one a battery. The shop was pretty straight forward and easy to complete.

Not sure which of the companies you are doing them for but the jobs I have seen for one of the two msc listed above have a reimbursement limit of $100. I guess it is time for me to sign up with the other company listed.
I did one yesterday (for the battery replacement). The report was quite easy -- in fact, because the store did not follow the proper procedure, I had to really write tight in order to fit my narrative into the 800 character limit. BTW, the shop I did actually required an iphone plus, although of course there might be variations on this shop.
Just a follow up that despite the store not following the correct procedure, yielding a somewhat awkward report on my end, the shop was reviewed and accepted promptly. If someone needs either of the offered services and their phone is definitely covered (the shops I've seen require an iPhone plus) I wouldn't hesitate to pick up one of these shops.
Confero. And looking at the job board it can be an iphone 5 through 7 and doesn't have to be the "plus." I'm gonna pick up another one for an older spare phone with a cracked screen.

Too bad android screens are too expensive to replace. I'd love to do this shop if it fit within the reimbursement
Not too expensive to replace it is more like who you gonna call?

I had just replaced my iPhone 6 battery at Apple for $29 three days before these shops were posted. Apple owners had until the end of the year to replace batteries, and it seemed like everyone I know with an iPhone had a battery dying at the same time. This was a shop I really needed and could have done a few for friends. Wish they were posted sooner or throughout the year. I had replaced a cracked screen over the summer.
How long did you have to wait for a battery replacement? I would love to do one but cannot fathom being without my phone for more than a couple of hours.
It was quick. Mine took less than 45 minutes. I went to a nearby cafe and I did half of the report while waiting! The other half was about the pickup.

Mine got quoted at 90 minutes. The employee offered to call -- I reminded him he had my phone. smiling smiley I gave my email and went home (ten min drive) but never saw anything -- turns out it took 45 minutes and the email went to spam, so it was ready when I returned.
Go for it!

Thank you Nin and Yappy. I think I am going to try and get one close to my job.

Hello Nin and Yappy. I did one. Dropped it off and was told it would take an hour. Shopped and spent money at the boutique next door that was having a great sale. Went back 50 minutes later and all was done. Loving my new phone battery, lol. Did it during my most productive lunch hour; one block away. Thank you so much for your input.
