IPSOS Closed Location Pay

I don't see anywhere in the shopper agreement, FAQ, or guidelines for IPSOS new gas client (including the night audit) that they only pay $5.00 for a closed location, yet they do. Am I missing something? This is pretty crappy.

I haven't seen anything either, but I always check Google before I got out for any audits to make sure the place is not closed, especially if it is at night.
I think the general rule of thumb with this MSC is 1/2 the price of the fee for a closed location. I don't do these shops (audits) but would assume it's the same.
general rules of thumb are not in my contract. I had two out of three locations that were closed when they should be open today. I'm not going to be happy if they don't pay me for them.

Most of my IPSOS instructions say to call first that they won't pay for closed locations. I don't do gas stations for them though. That's what it said on the tablet shop I did today though.
Here's my beef with the green gas stations switching MSCs:

Former MSC allowed for a closed station and paid in full. Appeared they were looking for locations which closed prior to posted times, or went out of business or changed names, etc and on and on.

New MSC allows for a closed station. Period. My guidelines don't differentiate the pay.

Most of their (the new MSC) other closed locations (no matter the client) paid 1/2 or a closed location fee.

I did a route of the dark shops tonight and the next to the last was closed upon arrival. I called ahead and no one answered. I kept on keeping on because, luckily, it is 5 minutes from home. I did not want to do the song and dance with the new MSC. I will go back on another day. 2 minutes of my time wasted, but...I want full pay, no hassle. Period.

ETAdd the location in question was listed as 24/7 on the green station "find a station" webpage.

Both of my closed locations were listed as closing at 10pm. I was there at 5:30.
This is going to keep me from working for this MSC.

I was just going by previous experience with cell phone shops. I got paid 1/2 the fee twice with them.

Keep us posted on your pay?

I'll go back before the due date of the 10th. If I encounter the same situation, I will report it as closed and expect full pay. I read through everything again and nowhere does it mention a closed location fee. Should they not honor me with full pay, it will take one email for me to get my money. If they do not pay in full, I will not be completing that shop for them again.
I selected "location is temporarily closed." There is nowhere to enter comments. They're going to have some growing pains with this client. This is one of them.

In the report in Chrome, you can make a "NEW NOTE". It's between the Survey Summary and the actual report.
oh right. That box way at the top that I always forget is there...

My experience with closed locations and this MSC varies by client and sometimes I think the whim of the editor. The first year they had their shipping client they gave nothing for closed locations then changed to 50%. I still have two "Hold Pay" shops for closed sites listed in my pay history to remind me. A phone company had a go-to fee (I've forgotten how much, I don't do these anymore). Sometimes the editor or scheduler would remove the job completely from my job history and pay nothing sending me a polite thank you other times I'd get the fee. The eyebrow job I attempted last month is stuck in limbo and I'm not sure if the MSC even knows how they are handling it.
