Can't apply for shop unless grade of 8 - Customer Impact

I recently signed up with Customer Impact and I'm trying to apply for a mystery shop on their site. My application keeps getting automatically and immediately rejected because I don't have a shop score of 8. I'm brand new and just signed up with them to do this particular job. I don't see anyone to contact on their site to request it directly. How do I ever get a score of 8 if I can't apply for their jobs in the first place??

I had this same issue. They have some shops that do not require a rating. I waited until one was available and completed it a week ago. It was not self assign. I got a 10 on my first assignment and now I can apply for other stuff.
I experienced this as well and was very frustrated. Check the boards often for jobs. The ones without ratings tend to go very quickly.
I too experienced the same conundrum after signing up with a new MSC. Several days later, I received an email from a scheduler from this MSC trying to fill jobs for that particular client. I replied to the scheduler that I was interested in doing a shop for this client and she assigned one to me. I now have the necessary score to apply for these shops on their site.
From my understanding, you can still apply, just not self assign.

Perhaps expand your zip code and try to do one of their phone shops.

Best of luck.
Could also be worth calling them. The assigners are all pretty good people and they may be willing to work with you.
A few years ago I had a similar experience. I noticed the same job on the board that was literally 3 minutes down the road from me. I could not self assign because this MSC was new to me. Also, the shopper rating was an issue. I emailed the scheduler and explained I was new to them, but I had beem shopping for a while. I let her know that I would love to perform the job that has been sitting on the board for a while and that I could quickly complete it thoroughly and accurately. She replied back thanking me and also letting me know that she had assigned the job to me.

Hi Southlake

My name is Daniel Price and I'm the VP of Operations for Customer Impact. I want to help get you a shop assigned! There could be a reason why it's has a minimum, An example is if it's a fine dining shop then we usually want a shopper who has some experience with us before giving them one of those due to the high out-of-pocket expenses that the shopper incurs. We want them to be comfortable with us and our process before taking one of those on.

That being said...we are not above making simple mistakes smiling smiley It could be a setting or check-box that a scheduler accidentally has checked for that specific client/shop that we need to correct to allow for applications from those who don't have an 8.

The final thing is sometimes SASSIE will say it requires an 8 but the system is misleading and you still can apply for it(that's out of our control unfortunately).

If you don't mind, shoot me an email at dprice@customerimpactinfo.com with the shops/area in question and I'll check it out for you. I'll also do my best to help get you a shop assigned so you can get a shopper rating with us!
