Deleting ISecretShop

The companies on this site (app), do they have their own boards or do they solely go through ISecretShop? I'm wanting to delete my profile from ISecretShop but, there are a couple of companies I want to remain with. I know you can delete Gigspot and sign up with the individual companies because they have their own boards. Can I do the same with ISecretShop?

It is a mix. Some companies only use iSS (NWLPC). Others use both iSS and a separate website (Jancyn).

Thank you, MFJohnston. I really only use two companies on the entire platform. I've been on it for a long time and get very little work from it. I am on Jancyn's main site already so, maybe I will just delete it and see how it goes.

There are some shops that Jancyn will put on iSS, but not on their main site.... Honestly, I would not delete iSS at all. Every month or two, it seems that another company joins.... If you don't use it much, put it with your links to all the MSC's that you don't frequent. Then, it's there for you when you need to dig up more shops.

I do 5-10 shops each month through iSS, most of which are for NWLPC, which only lists shops on iSS. However, every couple of months, I find a video shop for Business Observations there or some other random filler. If you have the space on your phone, the app is handy, even if you don't use it much. I find I can quickly scan through available shops with the app much more quickly than I can look them on on their main site.

I just saw that you also help forum members on that site as well. That is so awesome!

You must be in an area that has a lot of work. If you get 5-10 shops in a month that is amazing! I see some people on the board that gets a lot of jobs as well but, they live in that area.

I don't know about amazing.... I do live in a city (Seattle) and there are lots of shops here..... Most of the shops I grab through iSS are casinos which pay $30+reimbursements and I keep my winnings.... I do far more shops through MSC's not affiliated with iSS.

Yes, I do answer questions on the iSS forum. The balance between new and experienced shoppers there leans a lot more heavily towards "new" over there. Most do not realize that there is mystery shopping outside of iSS. As they express interest in expanding their shopping endeavors, I encourage them to come to this forum to learn about the mystery shopping world.

Hi MFJohnston, we've chatted before on iSS forum. I, too, do about 10-15 shops a month on iSS platform not including their phone and web shops. I get enough work from using the app in my area. It has its lulls and sometimes they have very little available and other times they have tons.

Welcome to this forum!

You'll find that, by signing up with MSC's beyond those on iSS, you will have all sorts of shopping opportunities when there are lulls in the iSS work.... You also just might find similar shops to what you like over there, but with a bit more compensation.... You might even find shops that you like better than what you see there. smiling smiley

I do shops with other companies too, just not that many. I have 3 or 4 other companies I do work for on a weekly basis, but my favorite is iSS for some reason. I'm going to start expanding to more companies soon. I only started shopping about a year and a half ago seriously so I started slow and am taking my time making sure I do quality work because I screwed up on a few when I first started and it bit me in the you know what! Haha
