Unavailable Shops at MFI

I log on to the MFI site and see the available shops. The shops are visible on my computer and I can see them (repetitive for a purpose). One shop is this week; the other is in February. Neither shop gives the option to make an offer.

I call the toll free number. Neither shop can be seen on their end.

What's going on?

According to some schedulers for MF, they don't see shops until they are released to schedulers -- i.e., the only shops they eventually see are those not snapped up by shoppers from the job board.

I’ve had something like that happen to me. The dates to schedule were not released yet as the earlier shop was not completed. They needed to have a certain time between shops. Give it a few days.

Okay, thanks.

My last shop was a few weeks ago. These shops are sitting on the board, so they must not be released to the schedulers, like kenasch said.

If the website does not have the "Make An Offer" option, I have to go through a scheduler.

Honny, I'm not understanding. Are you saying that you cannot click on "View Shop Details" and then self-assign shops, or are you saying that the shops don't have the additional "Make an Offer" for those who want to ask for a bonus instead of just self-assigning? Not all the shops on my shop board have Make an Offer, only the "desperate" ones and they are marked on the main job list with a green $. Are you saying that usually all the shops on your job board have the make an offer feature?

rofl taco, I wondered why I could see available shops, but the schedulers could not.

My shops always came from the schedulers. I just learned about the "Make An Offer" feature.

Ah. I understand. Only a few of the shops on the Job Board, at least here, have Make An Offer. Only by going through the schedulers or using the Make An Offer have I ever been able to negotiate a bonus. Most of the stuff on the job board is there to self assign at the regular fee.

Ok, now I can understand what you are asking. 99.9% of the time, the schedulers will not negotiate the fee unless the shop has a Make an Offer link added. As already noted by others, unless it is a hard to fill location (like airports) or overdue, MF is not looking to talk about the fee. The schedulers can not increase the fee unless the Make an Offer flag has been set. This typically means the base fee has already been adjusted, bonus offers have gone out to individuals and Samantha offers have also gone out.

The schedulers can see every shop on the boards, I have gone over available shops with them when trying to create a bundle. Every time, unless a shop already has a Make an Offer link, I am informed that they can not negotiate the fee: even to entice me to take the bonused shop they are trying to currently fill.
