Sentry new payment method, they want your bank sign in information

Actually that is completely untrue. Debit and credit cards offer the exact same protections.

If it is that worrying, can't you just change your password immediately after using it?

It only has to happen one time. The first person to see your password and quickly use it. I would not take the chance.
I personally would be cautious since our checking account at times has large sums of money in it. If I kept less than $100 I wouldn't stress it. Even if the worst happened you can probably make much more than you lost. This way you lose altogether by not working for a company who is using an accepted and probably safe method of payment.
If someone is that worried they could open a savings account just for MS payments like I did. Then we move them around to checking or other accounts as needed. You could also move it to Pay Pal. Although I understand Pay Pal uses the same verification so that's another payment method you don't get to use. You may as well go back to cashing checks and burying the cash in the back yard.
I was recently paid by another MSC by an electronic check. When I logged in I was given the option for direct deposit. It had the SAME instant account verification that Sentry has, I used it and got my direct deposit from this company in 48 hours. Easy Peasy. No problem. You can choose to use IAV or not but to say it's unsafe is just unfair and not true There is nothing unsafe about it and this post is the most ridiculous post I have read on the forum since I have registered 2 years ago. Please educate yourself.

I know this isn't about the current thread of banking and deposits with Sentry, but I have a little bit of an issue with them, banking aside.

I mystery shopped quite a bit in years past and did several shops for Sentry. I actually loved the "can we offer you a shopping cart?" big box store shops...

Recently, I've picked up shopping again and decided to try out Sentry, doing a shop at a FF restaurant I wasn't thrilled to go to, but the schedulers were begging and offering bonuses. I figured, "What the heck. With the bonus, it will be a free night out with husb." So we went.

The next day, I had a question from an editor. It took me six hours to get the question answered.

Now my pay is being docked, basically in the amount of the bonus.

I don't think I'm too thrilled about picking up those FF shops ever again. No matter how much the begging or bonuses look attractive.

Hi Jill,
Email me at smunro@sentrymarketing.com .
You would never get a late fee from an editor's question. If you email me I can research what happened.

Not so. The liability to the consumer for fraud-unauthorized transactions, etc are different between credit and debit cards. I know this to be a fact.

As much as I like bgriffin, I agree that you are correct SS4U
