Market Analytics International was alerted that individuals are posing as employees and inviting people to become paid secret shoppers. These individuals are using the Market Analytics name and logo but not a legitimate Market Analytics phone number, email or website. These are NOT requests from our company and as a result, DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE INQUIRIES. THEY ARE PHISHING SCAMS AND CAN RESULT IN RECEIVING FRAUDULENT CHECKS ALONG WITH ASSIGNMENTS.
Shoppers are receiving assignment packages via USPS Priority Mail for an Apple Store shop. The package includes a check for $2,950, assignment instructions and an assessment form. The assignment requires that shoppers purchase Apple Store and iTunes gift cards. Additionally, shoppers are texted from a Google voice number. THIS IS A SCAM! If you have been a victim, we recommend that you notify your local law enforcement.
