I have just started a new mystery shopping service. For the past six months I've been using Prophet software but it is just too difficult for a novice person like me. Does anyone have any suggestions for an extremely user friendly software or platform? Thanks.

Membership is free. Simply choose your username, type in your email address, and choose a password. You immediately get full access to the forum.

Prophet is a platform which some MSCs use to list shops and to receive reports. The other major platform is Sassie. Some MSCs use the Sassie platform. It is different. I am not going to say that it is easier or harder, just different. I don't find either hard to use, and I go back and forth on a daily basis. This listing claims to be a listing of all Sassie MSCs. I don't know if it is, but there are a number there for you to start signing up with: [mysteryshoponline.com] Some MSCs use their own proprietary listing and reporting platforms. Two that come to find are Maritz and Marketforce. Another "shared" platform is iSecretShop: [isecretshop.com]

Thanks for your help. I've just contacted ISecretShop. Does anyone know what their pricing is? Shopmetrics was too expensive for a small startup like me.

You will have to ask them directly.

If you don't have a ton of clients, you can do this without a job board at all. Simple web sites are cheap and you can assign everything through email. (A number of MSC's do this.)

I understand what you're saying about the email and customers but what about the preparation of the surveys and reports to clients. Is there a cheap website or software for this?

I'm sorry matt. I thought you were asking as a shopper, not as an MSC.

As an MSC, what problems were you having with Prophet?
