BestMark shop still not submitted to client, but no contact from BestMark

Hello, long-time lurker and first-time poster. I've been shopping for BestMark-mostly phone shops due to my semi-rural location-for about the past six months. Other than my first two shops when I received minor coaching notes, but still got paid, my shops seem to get submitted to the client within 7 days time, and often less. I have never had a rejected survey, or received any coaching notes since those first two surveys.

I have a phone shop that I completed on February 2, and it has neither been submitted to the client, nor have I received any correspondence from BestMark. I completed six other phone shops *after* the Feb 2nd shop, and those have all been submitted to the clients without any deductions or follow-up from BestMark.

Should I be concerned? Do they normally take this long to process a shopper survey without any contact with the shopper? Should I be patient and wait it out, or should I reach out to someone at this point? Thanks for any feedback.

They usually approve within a few days. Have you tried sending them an email ? They usually are responsive.
Yes, it seemed odd to me that they hadn't submitted it but hadn't reached out to me with any questions or concerns with my survey. I guess it's probably time to reach out to them and ask what is going on.
I found the tone of your post to be courteous and professional. Maintain that quality in your e-mail to Best, and you should be fine!

Welcome to the forum!
For any shop, if I hadn't heard back from them within their usual approval time, I would suggest sending email. If they don't respond to several emails then I would call. Let us know what happens.
Thanks for the feedback, 7star and ceasesmith! I sent them an email.

Well, I have not gotten a reply to my email from the company, but I was paid yesterday for all shops to-date, including the February 2 shop. It still has not been submitted to the client but I was paid in full with no deductions. Glad to have been paid for the work, but now I am just curious as to why the survey was not submitted. I'll share if I hear anything back from them.

Good to hear you got paid. Lately they have not been that responsive to emails. Maybe it has to do with the fact their company got bought or merged within the last year or so.
Sometimes the nature of a project involves giving the clients all of the shops in a batch instead of sending them out as they come in. So, it might still be in holding while the rest of the wave of shops is completed. Bestmark may have even been contracted to do some data analysis and write a summary of their findings instead of just giving the client the raw data. This is stuff that we don't always get told about as shoppers since it isn't really relevant to how we do our jobs. That said, I agree it is wise to double check just in case you missed an attempted contact from an editor.

Bestmark in one of the cheapest paying companies I have seen, very low fees.

I did well over $5000 a year for them for 10 years, so maybe you and I don't see the same clients?
The only shops they have in my area are service for a specific car make that I do not own and sales visit for that same company. BestMark pays $20 for dealership shops when I normally get $60-80. Then they had a retail car detailing shop where the pay was $10 and the shopper had to buy $30 worth of soap and wax.... Those have been the only shops, oh yeah, and $5 phone shops.
