Blink Research

Anyone familiar with Blink research? I got a email from them and I am not registered with them

They are a good company. They use the Prophet platform. After my first shop, the owner emailed me a thank you. Pay is on time.

The owner has been in the industry for a long time. First with another MSC, then, with their blessing, started his own MSC. All-around good guy. Easy to work with. Reliable pay.

The owner is on my Facebook page and I'd love to work for him, but, no jobs (yet) in CA, totally a back East company. The owner is a very intelligent guy.....

Irene, Blink occasionally - including right now - has open jobs in the LA area.

With Blink and Prophet, how do you know if the shop you've turned in has been approved and accepted? Thank you!

On the top right of the home page you can click on the link to show the shops you have completed. I believe if the shop is listed there, it has been approved. When there has been a problem with a shop, I have always been quickly contacted by the MSC. This may vary by MSC though. I cannot connect to Blink now. It says unable to connect to server. I wonder if they are having a problem. Also, if I try with Internet Explorer I get a message that their security certificate is not current and a warning not to continue. Other browsers work but I still get the server problem message

I just went on as I applied for two shops and to my surprise, I got both of them...had no trouble getting onto site
however I wasn't contacted saying I got them and their due Friday, good thing I was reminded by this thread.
edited: just got a reminder for Friday....new MSC for me, so jumped the gun.

Another testament to signing up for all the MSC companies, even if they don't have shops in your area. This one never had anything for me. But just recently I got an email and picked up two nice little shops. Not big money but also not a lot of work. Since I would be in the area anyway, they were add-ons. I hope they have more in the future!

So true! Also, all of their little lunch shops never appealed to me until I started mapping them against my many urban valet parking shops and realized that I could profitably spend the required parking time getting a reimbursed lunch in a nice warm/cool place nearby. AND they have just added a public service client in the DC metro area that will be very handy for me both along routes and as a great place to use the great free Wifi.

Glad to have more chances to work with the owner more often! Easy reports, interesting clients, nice people; what more do you want when it comes to filler shops for routes?
