Customer Impact

The closest shop for Customer Impact is almost an hour and a half away so I have not completed the small shops. A shop with a higher reimbursement came available and I applied but my shopper rating is too low. Is the rating based solely on the number of shops completed?

They do like to see a track record but they give new shoppers a chance. Their high-reimbursement shops are in great demand, though, and, unless you are in an isolated area of few shoppers, they will have many, many applications for the shops. If the scheduler has a choice of applications from 5 or 6 long-time shoppers, it may take a while to get assigned one of these shops, especially if you have not completed any others for them. Keep trying. Eventually you will get assigned one.
I have worked for them since the start (13yrs.). and am finding they do give new shoppers a start. They have some different clients that they want me to do, but not in my range, so I haven't been getting a certain job in my town, I do get one sandwich place I like over and over, thinking things are changing for them. They are a stand up company, keep trying.

Live consciously....
I can’t even apply for it though. Is there a way to call or email? There are two that I would like but both have minimums. Right now it has been three days and not assigned.
The schedulers at Customer Impact usually take their time assigning the high-reimbursement shops. Sometimes it takes a week or longer after applying before the shop is assigned. Did you get an email about the shop? If so, it would have the scheduler's contact information. If you saw it on the Job Board and are unable to apply for it, having been there 3 days doesn't mean no one wants it, only that the scheduler hasn't made up her mind yet which shopper to assign to. You might email Daniel Price, their VP of Operations, at dprice@customerimpactinfo.com and he could put you in touch with someone who can help. Daniel is a nice guy who often posts here on the forum and is very friendly and helpful to shoppers.
Daniel is extremely, extremely kind and gracious. I say that because he gave me a shot at a fine dining restaurant as a shopper with no rating. I ended up receiving a perfect score on my evaluation and more shops. If you email him, I am sure that he will respond and try to help you out.
Thank you for the suggestions! I have emailed Daniel so we will see what happens. It sounds like a good company to work with so hoping I am able to try one out.
Someone keeps taking my steakhouse shop. I thought they lost that client until one day I put in a different zip code. I'm furious!
