Market Force - fast casual chain now has some phone ordering shops

MisterBill, why are you surprised someone would get both a drink and a shake? A thirsty person would get both, as a milkshake does not quench the thirst. And what is so usual about ordering a burger and fries? That's what most people do.

I think he meant ordering the large fries for yourself. I can’t even finish the small fries myself but I’m sure there are folks who order large and can finish them. Also, some may order large with the intent of bringing the leftovers home. Of course for this shop the size of fries or the type of sandwich is not specified.

OK, here's where I get to repeat my mantra:

Build a relationship with your schedulers!

Bill, if you'd called your scheduler's phone number as soon as you realized your error, she or he has the ability to reschedule the shop for you.

Problem solved.

I sometimes have to go down a list of 8 or 12 schedulers before I get one that's on duty and answering the phone, LOL! They have saved the day for me so many times, I wish I could send them Christmas presents!
Market Force has schedulers? All I see is email from the automated Samantha. I realized the error over the weekend. I called at 10:15am on Monday (website claims they do not open until 10) and selected the option for "if you have a shop due today". No one answered so I left voicemail. No one returned my call. I got an email much later in the day saying my shop (which I hadn't fully submitted) was being rejected because I did the wrong scenario. I NEVER got any confirmation that they got my phonemail.

Would love to know the trick to get a real person on the phone.
I caught this one (order online) before I did it. I did it twice but 2 different locations. But I had the issue of one of the orders as I never got any confirmation or anything (through the app) so I did the order again (this time got paperwork on it). Went to the location, and had two orders for me (meals+ milkshakes). I am mad as they double charged my credit card (so $40) but I am getting half of it back. Hey at least my case, I win some and I will learn too. I also put it in my report on what happened.
I'm not quite sure I followed exactly what happened but I thought the shop instructions said what to do if you don't get a confirmation of your order. If the instructions didn't state what to do then I would've cancelled the extra order at the store while explaining to the shift leader what happened. I wouldn't want to pay for an extra order that's almost $15.

When I walked in, they told me there was 2 orders. I tried to cancel the one and they started having a fit because they were not identical orders (I forgot pickles on the one) so it was just easier to bite the loss. Since I was taking the meal home, my parents ended up eating on the second order and we froze the other fry. So in the end I am simply tired of the burger joint.
Thanks for explaining. At least you got good use of 2 meals. I try to do only walk-in or phone orders.

I usually order the regular fries and a veggie sandwich so I stay under the max. I eat half of the sandwich and some of the fries and take the rest home. On this last shop I got a grilled cheese with veggies (mushrooms, onions, tomato, BBQ sauce) and a little fries (although I probably could have gotten the regular for around 25c over). Went with my wife and we finished both.

The large fries are enough fhr 3-4 people. I guess some people could finish it themselves in one sitting but it doesn't sound like a healthy thing to do!
