Measure Consumer Perspectives...now HS Brands payments

I am new to the forum, but felt it necessary to alert anyone who has done shops recently for MCP, now HS Brands, that I was informed that they will not be paying as stated on the MCP site. I received notification from HS Brands that they pay 60 days, after the last day of the month in which shop was completed, typically between 45-75 days of completed shop. Be aware, that they were still offering shops in the month of Feb. 2019 under the MCP name, but follow the payment terms of HS Brands.

Oh no! That is not good to hear. I did a $100.00 shop mid March and have not heard anything about it. I have emailed and have faith that someone will get back to me. Please, wish me luck...
I did a shop for MCP via HS Brands on 1/11 and was paid on 3/14 via PayPal.

Anyone else having issues getting paid by MCP? Or are we to assume that all jobs will be paid 60 days out? I know I won't be working for them again.
I'm glad to see this information because they have a hotel casino shop that pays close to $2,500.
It's not that easy to get a $2500 casino shop for most people. They have 100's of unqualified applicants for some of those shops.

Don't worry. You should have your money in time for Christmas.

If I'm not mistaken don't you have to do a casino test shop before they'll give you a real shop? I know I did. Which is good, I found that while I did get a 10/10 on the test shop it wasn't something I particularly enjoyed. Well, about half of it I enjoyed, didn't enjoy the other half. So I never applied for a full shop. I might, in the future, just doesn't really fit what I'm doing right now.

I did an oil change and one other shop totaling over $100 on Feb. 1, 84 days ago, and no pay yet, April 27th. Good luck with March. It will be another month or so.

I have no idea what needs to get done to get assigned. I'm eligible for all gaming, everywhere. I usually do the first shop for new clients for more than a couple of companies to help them land the contract. Sometimes, they don't get any acceptable applicants, so they will call and ask if I can do a shop. Basically, they get a bunch of new shoppers or lousy shoppers or shoppers who can't play table games or don't have the demographics or income to do these. Casinos are not easy shops. They require tons of observations. You need to be familiar with rules and behaviors at the tables. You need to be able to operate on very little sleep or broken up sleep over 2 to 3 days. You'd better be able to do all of this with a slight buzz, as you will be checking bars and drink servers. Just forget it if you don't drink. Don't waste my time. Best not to take on a job like this unless you are sure that you can complete it correctly. Being out $2500 is no joke.

I haven't done one in at least a year. It doesn't fit my schedule right now. Maybe again in the future?
I did a shop Feb 2 and my shop just now says "payment pending" and it has been 87 days! That is 12.5 weeks..... Yes, 60 days starting the last day of the month you shopped - so if you shop on the 1st-5th you are looking at just a couple days shy of waiting 3 months for payment.
I did a shop for them 4/1. I am not expecting pay until June.

Actually it will be July (60 days from 4/30)

Same here, my 2 shops were on Feb. 1st and nothing, nada, zip except for the "pending" crap. The company must be having financial problems, but that is no excuse for making us wait 3 months after the shop. I feel for new shoppers who sign up with them and don't know about this forum. They are in for a shock!
UPDATE: Finally got paid on the 29th by direct deposit.

Getting a casino shop just might be your worst nightmare coming true. Can you afford to wait 3 months for reimbursement? Consider yourself lucky and find another MSP who does casinos.

Where did you get the information that they are having financial problems? That is simply not true.

Also Market Force and IPSOS are not having financial problems.
It is now the last day of April and still no payment from a Feb 2 shop. 89 days...….
Yes my shop did move to "pending payment" two days ago...….nothing deposited as yet.
I sent them an email......waiting for a response. (Sent to: payments@hsbrands.com)

YES! Paypal notified me today, May 1, of my HS Brand payment for shops done Feb 2 and 4 is now in my account - 2 days shy of 3 months. I just deactivated my relationship with this company - 3 months is insane!
I use HS Brand and have gotten paid in a timely manner are you referring to something very specific? Thanks!
That was purely speculation about HS Brands and financial problems. No other excuse for taking 3 months after the shop to get paid. IPSOS pays on time. I don't remember anyone saying that IPSOS or Market Force were in financial trouble.
Whoa. I only started shopping a few months ago - I was thinking the past. Just check, my Jiffy Lube from early Feb is not paid, must have slipped past me since it was only the one on my spreadsheet. IPSOS is one of the only ones that pay right away - love that.

I got my payment within a few days after posting this (I asked for it) and this post really worried me since I do like working with them. I hope everyone has good experiences with this MSC.

I was paid earlier this week for an early March MCP shop. It came through PayPal, not my HS Brands direct deposit. Obviously HS Brands' payment schedule is not for everyone but I've never had any problem with their payments coming in when their guidelines state they will. I'd rather a slower but reliable paying MSC to one that promises a quicker payment but makes me chase it down or make me send multiple inquiries to correct a payment that is short.
When I work for another MSC scheduling company, payments come from the individual MSC that I am actually working with. Is this the same with HS? Is that the issue discussed here? If it were my bread and butter and I relied on it to support my home, it might matter a whole lot, especially if it were a huge reimbursement. That said, I like the work I'm doing for them, it's not a lot, like $150 a month, but again, I'm shopping for fun funds.

I find it interesting that 7 months ago I stated their payment schedule was 60 days after the last day of the month the shops are performed and was told by @Lorri Kern KSS that I was wrong. Yet it seems to me this is the payment schedule the posters in this thread have been seeing. Odd.

That is not the payment schedule that was followed in the data point I posted above -- I was paid for a March shop early in May, not 60 days after the last day of March.
