Customer Impact - Great Company

A week or so ago I requested information about Customer Impact's shopper rating minimum. Since most of their assignments are far away I have not completed a shop with them. After contacting the scheduler she asked about my previous experience. Since I was able to show that I've completed similar venues, I was given a chance! She will add my experience into my profile so other schedulers can see it. I can't say enough about a company that has a personal touch. I didn't feel like just another Shopper number to them.

I find the schedulers there to be very responsive and proactive. They are definitely in my top 3 companies!
I discovered Customer Impact through this forum and did my first few jobs for them this winter. I like dealing with them. They are quick to respond, quick to edit, and quick to answer questions. I wish every company were so easy to work with!
I LOVE Customer Impact. They rate and email me back same day. They gave me feedback once which helped with another shop. Great company with great communication.
Have been with CI for years, and the Scheduler lifted my three month rotation to let me do my favorite BBQ dinner tomorrow night.....excellent company getting many new shoppers, so stay on your toes.....

They still have that client. We went not too long ago. They don't have many jobs though where I am, and I travel between two major markets.
They are a top-notch company to work with. Can't say enough good things about them.

They don't have that client anymore? I never got one of those shops. Too late now.

They used to have an awesome steakhouse client. I really miss it!

I have always praised this company, however today I am not a happy camper, as my 50.00 dinner was rejected, first time in all the years I've been with them. This was a dining room dinner on a Sat. night with the bar area mobbed and dark, no seats or standing room. I was asked if I'd like to wait in the bar or have a seat, and viewing the bar there would be nowhere to wait, so I choose a seat. My wait was half an hour, and standing didn't seem like any customer would choose as we can't have a drink on this assignment, so, my report was declined (a lot of work), over it. I have worked for them for over 10 years.

I am reading in between the lines that the client wanted you to visit/wait in the bar if on a wait to be seated but you were not to have a drink? Yes?
They have different steakhouse clients. The one I’m referring to has a “wine bar” ????

I received my shop back and did receive a “10” They were great to work with but there is very few shops in my area. I really do like the fine dining and entertainment shops.

That's still there too. Tapas?
No tapas. It’s the one where you usually get a box of chocolate at the end of the night.
Niner, are you referring to the Tapas restaurant in NJ? I've done that one and loved it, but I'm too old to eat there now..ha ha

This was a dining room visit only, not a bar evaluation....no drinks could be ordered.

Was this like the "belly up to the bar shop" where you must sit at the bar? The one where you are to refuse if they offer you a table?
No, no bar at all..this was a dining room dinner, that's why the confusion.

I haven't done anything for them besides the quick audits that can be done on the GoSpotCheck app and I actually love those shops that are done before I get back in the car. I would, however, love to be in an area that does the dining shops.

So you sat in the lounge and that was the basis for why it was rejected?

Just applied to be Customer Impact MS. My SSN status is pending. How long does it take to get clear?

I just did what should have been an easy shop for them also using the GoSpotCheck app. The problem I had was poor cell service in the store. There is no backup plan with the app for this. All pictures have to be taken and uploaded while using the app. It took me a long time but then when I hit submit I lost the connection. I tried to restart the app in my car and it appeared the shop was not completed and my answers and photos were lost. So I went back inside the store and did the shop a second time and this time waited to get to the car before submitting the report. I was finally successful but when I went to the history page it showed that I did the same shop twice! I notified the scheduler.

The app does tend to glitch the upload when it loses connection. I just wait until I am in an area with better signal and restart the app. If it doesn't upload immediately then I reboot my phone and go to the upload history page. If the upload is marked as having failed I resend it, but most of the time it resends automatically.

The real issue is that the location sometimes won't "clear" (as in self-delete the start shop listing) when I have had to restart the upload. You did the right thing by calling the scheduler. They are used to dealing with this glitch.

I had that problem when doing a shop in the casino, the service was awful but I was luckily able to get wifi from one of the stores before I started it. It would certaintly be a pain in the butt to have to worry about wifi when you have to report in the app. It seems like they need a tweek where you can upload when there's no signal.

You can upload later when you have a signal, in fact it does so automatically. The OP was not aware it had done so, hence the double report.
