Very mad at MarketForce right now.

This is so right I think it needs to be posted again. It's easy to think, when you are miffed that a shop was invalidated, that "I bet they used it anyway." They don't.

Actually they do contact you for invalidated Shops I had one due to the time I reported. They sent me an email and they were able to catch it a couple months ago. My issue with them is I don’t feel they are available when I have an issue or need a Shop Date Change

I was never contacted by them about these shops being invalid or given a reason until I contacted them. I wonder if that's the fault of the editor.

I know other shops will do that. If I cancel a shop, I cannot do another one of those shops, until the next round.
They are working with me on this. They've asked for copies of all 3 brochures with the shop ID on them.
johnb, join the brotherhood and sisterhood of the legions of shoppers who have been unceremoniously terminated by MFI. At least you get to quit them instead of vice-versa. I found them unethical and unreasonable, and my life improved once they were gone from my list. Have to wonder if the supervisors there are just pissed off at the world because it's a crap place to work.

@eyelove2shop: I think I found the reason for 2 of the shops. They wanted a picture of the brochure and one of the form the store rep has signed. I made the brochure the receipt. I gave them BOTH, but because I put the brochure as the receipt, they called them invalid. All they had to do was to correct it and let me know. A simple issue to correct. I will not do another shop for that carrier again and I cancelled my other 4 shops.
The brochure is one picture and the recognition of audit is the other picture. This is the one where the employee fills out most of the paperwork. This particular audit also calls for certain pictures and any pictures of store/sign damage. If you only submitted the brochure picture, they need the ROA paper as well.

I submitted pictures of each form and pictures of each store.
While going through the pictures on my phone, I noticed I had taken pictures of each brochure in each store. My mistake, I could have just submitted those and wouldn't have this problem.
I had wondered about these audits. There is usually plenty sitting on the board but I didn’t know if it was a pain audit or a not so much a pain audit. I learned the hard way on pictures, I no longer order the same sandwiches back to back in a shopping day, but can see how this could be more tedious. Perhaps if you do them in the future you can write the shop number on the top of the brochure with the date, or on a piece of paper above brochure, I know another phone audit required the shop number on business card... might ask.
As for shoppers, when I was 6 months in to shopping I did work for another company I had to drive 200 miles and the elderly staff at the MSC never put the bonus to the shop, so I was dealing with that all while being asked to do another long trip, I told the scheduler I was afraid to take any additional shops until the other got figured out, he said didn’t matter to them because they had thousands of shoppers. So although some schedulers and companies appreciate us, it appears we are more replaceable than we want to think. Which is also why I bust my butt to do my regular shops every month so I am not replaced.

Actually, with the photo DNA they can tell the date and time you took the brochure picture. If they were both taken on the same day, you still have the time theory. smiling smiley
Good job, John B! Your persistence gives others hope against the dark side of Market Farce.
