Unless the person you refer signs up AND names you as the source, you are unlikely to get a bonus. This means that the MSC is not responsible for keeping extensive lists of those that you/anyone claims they referred, just in case your referral signs up and does the requisite number of shops.
So, although they like referrals, MSCs do not want to encourage people who just hope to make a lot of money by referring everyone and anyone in hopes of getting "hit." Also, remember that SOME MSCs may lower YOUR rating if one of you referrals really screws up or, worse, turns out to be a cheat. So, do be careful who you ask to name you when they sign up to an MSC.
