I just got info in the mail. Im so scared this is a scam. How can I confirm?

What was the info? Did they send you a large check to deposit in your bank before doing a shop? If so, it’s a scam. I should add, the actual company is legit but scammers will pose as a real company to entice you.

Ditto. I doubt they would mail you info. Take it to the post office so they can investigate it.

Sometimes wonder about people posting here, looking for advice, then never return to tell us what happened. Hopefully the OP didn’t fall for the scam and is now too embarrassed to provide the rest of the story.

The real company is one you register for. The send out emails offering simple opportunities, you can also check listings from your account. When you clarify what you received, we can provide better input.

I believe I worked for them years ago, they might have been bought, I haven't heard a thing about them in years, but once upon a time they were a reputable company.

They are legit. I have performed evaluations for them many times. Never had a problem.

They are very good and always pay on time. OP said that info was received in the mail and that sounds like a scam. I wish OP would come back and explain what was actually received.

I recieved in the mail a check and instructions. I have deposited the check in my bac.nk and they put a 7 dau hold on it.till june6th

What were the instructions? If the check was for a future job such as buying ITune cards, this is a scam. Do not send anything to the scammer who is posing as Satisfaction Services. The check will prove to be fraudulent and you will lose your money. MSC’s Do not generally pay in advance.

Sounds like you received an unsolicited check with instructions to buy prepaid cards. If so, your bank will most likely charge you a fee when the check eventually bounces. Sometimes they bounce after several weeks. I hope you do not withdraw any funds related to your deposit.

SCAM!!! Please contact your bank and the police immediately!! DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, SPEND A SINGLE PENNY OF WHAT WAS DEPOSITED! They check may even appear to "clear" after a few days, but when it hits the bank at the other end of the routing number, it WILL bounce, and you will be out all of that $$, plus fees, and possibly criminal fraud charges will be filed against you.

Please ask the bank and the police how to proceed, since you already deposited the money. Satisfaction Services is the name of a legitimate company, but the scam artists are fraudulently using their name.

Hi I HAVE in the past worked with Satusfaction Services on some banking shops and got paid promptly. That being said , my bf whom I signed up recently received an email today from SaServices that I knew istantly was a scam. I explained to him how it worked and was shocked that it came from a company I knew as legit. After the initial email offer came the scam email which he answered by saying I have given your info to the police dept here to investigate. I hope you are caught. My girlfriend will be alerting all shoppers of your name , email as well as the company you are using to scam others. I feel really bad for those that get scammed it gives us all a bad blemish for our work in this field.
The name is Theresa Ficks, email, reply teresa@gmail.com. , Satisfaction Services Inc. She will even give you a link to the real website to check out so be careful everyone!!
